Boutique Homes review: Defective house build 3 years ago today

This is Knock Down and Rebuild House - Paid for Boutique home and got very poor quality of workmanship

Kitchen Island bench had 45mm of stagnant water and they build the bench which when the house was handed over was smelling of [censored]. Can you imagine having family over for Christmas and have to smell the new home. Disgusting

Defective House before even handover and we were told Warranty will fix it.

Front door is not secured there is a gap hence we are getting huge electricity bill.

Have an elderly person living in the house

Had leakages on the roof - not sure how may more to come

Toilet was not sealed hence damaged the cabinet and now our flooring has been affected. We have engineered timber flooring all around the house.

Spare bathroom has a clip missing on top of the door which you we have not used the bathroom as we give shower to our mum in our bathroom.

Patches of paint on the wall - Painter was absolutely useless.

Unfortunately our house was built in Covid, hence we could not come and stop them and check what they were doing.

From the pictures we had to tell them to change the structure of the Garage as we paid extra to have brick over the Garage and they did not.

Hindges on the doors are popping out since the hand over.

Paid extra for locks in the bed room and could not lock - it is still not in a correct position

Had issues with the heating system.

Tried calling warranty and they send same supervisor who is decent and his boss Michael who we think is worst then an Insurance Assessor who knocks the claims back - disgusting

Cant believe have had tradies come in and out of our house more than 50 times in 3 years. Not sure how much more

We have not even hung up and picture frames in case they say crack if beacuse of our frames.

We would like to have solar panels - we cannot as we do not want them to blame us. List can go longer and longer
