Bob Evans - service

My boyfriend and were very disappointed with our service here. We ordered the down home country fried steak and our server asked us how we wanted our steak done? Clearly he didn't know the menu, because there is no option on how to cook a country fried steak.
Our server never offered us a bread choice to go with our meal... He later remembered and then never brought it to us. He never checked on us once, never asked if we wanted dessert or offered the soup $5 special. I had to do that myself at the register. He handed us the check and that was it.
It was very frustrating and the dinner wasnt what we had hoped for as far as service was concerned... But at least the food was outstanding as always.
As long as the server daniel is there, we may just go patronize another be. Sorry, but our visit was awkward with this server and not what we want to experience again.

Bob Evans - fraud and scam

A guest at the hotel where I work comes to town child in college here.I gave good customer service to our guest so I was given a Bob Evans gift card they are located next to my place of employment. Giftcard value $10.00 so that I could have lunch on them. When I tried to use it the value was 1.81 cents. I was so embarrassed as I sent a manager of another department to pick up my lunch and she had to pay the balance. On the gift card it said the value was $10.00

10/18/2013, my husband and I decided to go to bob evans for dinner 7:15 p.m. we drove to clermont, fl., 20 miles south, after several minutes, hostess, Theresa, greeted us to the
back of resturant, to seat us. I asked if we could please have a booth. she said you'll have to come back up to the the front, while someone wipes off the table. she marched us back thru the resturant, with an attitude. another party of four came in. she seated them immediately. she returned to little podeum, proceeded to arrange about a dozen
menues. when she finished, she went behind the counter, picked up a towel, went to back, wipped off a table, returned towel, returned to front and asked us to follow her. This was a total of 8 to 9 minutes. when the server came to take our drink order we
asked to speak to the manager. he came to our table 10 minutes later, we explained
above story, he said she was one of his beast employees and "he was sorry about that".Our meal came with dessert... out of apple pie...

my husband has brought his mens group to this store#0545, in past for group meetings and to eat...we probably won't return, managers attitude bad..needs customer service re-training. we have eaten at this location ervery week or two, with friends, since it opened...gloria brown, leesburg, fl. Bob Evans at U.S.60Cannonsburg, KY 41102 & Bob Evans Ashland, Ky. 41101 What in the world has been done to the turkey and dressing meal. I used to love it. The very best dresssing I have ever eaten. Hadn;t eaten it for a long time. A couple weeks ago my husband and I ate at Cannonsburg. It did not even remotely resemble bob Evans dressing. It was green looking and runny. I have eaten at Bob Evans for years and turkey and dressing has been my favorite. I never figured out what was in it. GROSS My friend ate the same thing at Ashland yesterdday and she was so upset she asked if they had made it green for St. Patricks Day. It sounded just like ours. What ever has been done you have just ruined the best meal on your menu. NO THANKS. We have too many good restaurants in Ashland.. Cheddars, Steakhouse. Chinese, Applebees, Outback, to name only a few. Good bye Bob Evans. Sally Jackson

Seriously, Idontlikebeingliedto, is that even a real complaint? Or are you just a random employee trying to make a joke?

We are regular diners at Bob Evans. On two different occassions, we tried to enter the sweepstakes printed on the bottom or our bill and both times the web site does not exists! We even went to bobevans.com ran through every sweepstake listed to no avail. Does this survey really exist?

When i call to tell them they to bring it back and most of the time its in my lunch break so i cannot go back. Then the next time i go in i hear the staff talking about me saying i always complain so you better get their order right in a smart alec way. They are very rude and always overcharge. Bob Evans on Preston Hiway South in Louisville, KY 40213. It is across from a High School and We were in town on day for a sports event. The Host Bob lied to us and told us we could not have the Waitress that we like even though we found out later on she had 3 open tables. He lied because he is scared of getting beat up by Yolanda and Tara because they threaten him to give all of the "good tipping customers" to the two of them. Any customers that sit too long, or charge their tips, they will tell BOB to seat them in another girls section so they, (Yolanda and Tara) can max out their profits for the day. Any tips that come from charges are recorded into the system and may effect these girls assistance from the government. SCAM--- shame on you BOB and Yolanda and Tara. The other girls take for the day is less because of this going on for too long. These Two have actually embarassed customers as they were being seated to be moved because they were not up to the good tipping standard set by Yolanda and Tara.

I work at the Dixie highway location and now that the Preston store is closed these two have been transferred to our store. They have taken over! They get all the good tables and when we are slow, we get sent home early while they stay! I have never been so unhappy at a job in my whole life!

I was overcharged $2.00 about two months ago. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with my meal, but received a bill for a grilled chicken and cheese sandwich. The cost difference was $2.00 more. When I pointed it out to the waitress she told me the cashier would adjust the price. She didn't, but I needed to get back to work, so I obediently paid. The more I thought about it the angrier I became, so I called the manager when I returned to work. He gave me his name and told me to ask for the refund next time I came in. I didn't want to wait so long that I forgot, so I stopped by on my way home. The manager on duty told me he couldn't do anything until he checked with the other manager, but he would go ask. I waited, and waited, and waited... Finally, I decided to just forget about it. But, here it is a few months later, and I guarantee you that I'll never order any item that costs more than $2.99 when I eat at Bob Evans. That will only be with friends (not my husband -- we absolutely no longer go even if we did used to eat there once each week on Thursday mornings at a different location). I only drink water now. I mean Bob Evans will never get more than $2.99 plus tax and a very small tip for the server! Hope you all are happy! You've truly upset a once very loyal customer. By the way, this happened in Noblesville, Indiana!
