After reading through the reviews of BoardVitals, I must say that my experience aligns with the sentiments shared by others. The material provided by BoardVitals fell short of expectations, failing to accurately reflect the actual board questions. This discrepancy left me feeling frustrated and unprepared. It's disheartening to invest time and money in a resource that ultimately does not deliver on its promises. I would caution others against choosing BoardVitals for their board exam preparation, as there seem to be better alternatives available in the market. It's essential to select a study tool that truly simulates the exam experience and equips you with the knowledge needed to succeed.

BoardVitals is a total waste of time and money, I gotta say. The stuff they provide ain't even close to the actual board questions, not even by a long shot. So, my advice to you is to steer clear of these guys. Save yourself the trouble and find something better. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I totally agree with the ortho dude or dudette. I had the same experience with the Internal Medicine review. The questions were really poor, like super vague and incomplete. I took the time to write a detailed review on the BoardVitals website, and I gotta say, I kept it honest and clean. But I have a feeling they won't even bother posting it because, you know, they didn't pay me or anything. So yeah, my advice is to look for other study resources because this one is seriously pathetic.

The questions and answer explanations provided by BoardVitals are seriously lacking in quality. They are just plain bad, to be honest. The questions are all about facts and don't really challenge your thinking or understanding. And don't even get me started on the answer explanations. They are so short and unhelpful that they might as well not exist.

But that's not even the worst part. It seems like BoardVitals didn't even bother coming up with their own questions. Nope, they just straight up copied them from a review book called "Echocardiography Board Review" by Ramdas Pai. Like, seriously? Why would I pay for a subscription to BoardVitals when I can just buy the book for way cheaper?

I mean, come on, BoardVitals. If you're going to charge people for your services, at least put in some effort to create original and high-quality content. Don't just rip off someone else's work and pass it off as your own. It's just not cool.

Overall, I would not recommend BoardVitals to anyone looking for a reliable and effective study resource. Save your money and invest in a reputable review book instead. Trust me, you'll thank me later.

I gotta tell ya, I shelled out a crazy amount of cash for those Orthopaedic Recert Exam questions on BoardVitals. And let me tell you, the quality of those questions and answers is just plain laughable. I mean, seriously, there are so many grammar mistakes it's like they didn't even bother proofreading. And don't even get me started on the explanations, they're just horrible for most of the questions. They even left out words! Can you believe that?

But wait, it gets even worse. In one of the explanations, they actually called the scaphoid the scapula. I mean, come on! How can you mix up those two? It's like they didn't even bother to double-check their facts. The explanation goes something like this: "Th Cases which have a humpback deformity (intrascaphoid angle greater than 35 degrees) additional require an open-wedge interposition graft, which restores the normal anatomical positions of the scapula in relation to the carpal bone." Yeah, that's the kind of nonsense they're feeding us.

Let me tell you, there are way better online prep sites out there that cost only a fraction of what BoardVitals charges. I feel like I've been completely ripped off. And get this, there's no place on their site where you can actually submit a review. That's a huge red flag right there. I'm telling you, this whole thing is just a big ol' scam. They're preying on people who are stressed out about their exams and taking their hard-earned money. Don't fall for it like I did. Trust me, it's not worth it.

If you want my honest opinion, Ortho Bullets is a thousand times better and it costs way less. And just so you know, I have absolutely no reason to say that. I'm not getting any kickbacks or incentives for recommending it. It's just the truth. So save yourself the headache and go with Ortho Bullets instead. You'll thank me later. And remember, don't do it!

I used Boardvitals before to get CME's and thought I'd give their Qbank for the psychiatry MOC a shot since I already had an account with them. I used someone else's Qbank for my first MOC in 2012 and thought the content wouldn't be much different. I liked that they had an iPhone app so I could do and review questions on the go. Overall, I didn't have many issues at first, although some questions were repetitive and too simple. I did their quizzes daily and had an average score of about 90 (I got an 88 in my previous MOC, so it seemed about right).

But when exam day came and I started looking at the 220 questions... wow, the content of the questions was nothing like what I had covered or learned in the BoardVitals Qbank. It was like a whole different ballgame. Plus, the current exam also included case videos and pictures. By the end of the exam, I felt so deflated and was sure I had failed. But by some stroke of luck, I ended up with a grade in the 70's.

Maybe the questions reflected content from the past, but definitely not the current content. If I decide to go for a third MOC, I'll definitely try a different Qbank.
