Biblesoftbiblesoft and windows 10

L Review updated:

Biblesoft required upgrade to different library due to stopping support on several of there libraries. Then an immediate update to One Touch in order to be compatible with Windows 10. The costs are so high it is though I am being required to buy Biblesoft 3 times!!!

Although I have been a long standing customer with their top library, I have no app access.

I have had similar experiences. I have also been a customer for years since the program first came out on floppy disks. Almost every time windows is upgraded to a new level one has to spend a small fortune to get Biblesoft working again. I will never use Biblesoft again. Anyone purchasing Biblesoft today should be aware that as windows upgrades then most of the time they will have to purchase an upgrade from Biblesoft to continue to use what they have purchased or keep your old windows without upgrading.

It is hard to find a Bible study software that is as easy to use and comprehensive as PC Study Bible 5f. But,
I was put off by the response of Biblesoft that I must replace all my expensive add-ons to go to their "One Touch" version. It seems they chose to try and bleed their customers for thousands more to replace already purchased products. My only issue with version 5f and Windows 10 is that the initial window is slow to load. However, since I have had to move it from one computer to another many times, I have developed a method of loading which avoids any conflicts the add-ons may have with the operating system.
Instructions for Reinstalling PC Study Bible
From a working PC Study Bible 5F installation with all add-ons also installed, copy the entire C:Program Files (x86)BiblesoftPC Study Bible 5RefWorks file and save it in a folder. This will include all saved desktops (.pdc files).
On any new installation, first load the program. If loading version 4, next run the upgrade to version 5. Last, copy the contents of the RefWorks folder into the RefWorks folder of the newly installed Program. The program should create the appropriate database and links on the next startup.
To clear up any desktop options issues:
Right-click the PC Study Bible icon or the Joshua.exe file in the program file.
    Left-click Properties
    Left-click COMPATIBILITY
Check box for: Run this program in compatibility mode for: Windows 8
Check box for: RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR
    Click the “Apply” button.
