Bestship International Logistics (Shenzhen) Co., Ltd. review: Shipping from Shenzhen to South Africa via DHL express

I bought goods from Alibaba. It was 54 sets of regargable airbrush pens for children. I saw Bestship International Logistics on "Made in China" website. They are a gold member. I asked for a quote to transport my 3 boxes to South Africa. Lisa quoted me USD 8/kg. After 4 weeks delay, Lisa emailed me the quote - USD 754. My supplier said the goods weigh 63kg and Lisa told me it is 80kg. I couldn't dispute and accept that she was telling me the truth. I paid the money. After another week and messages from me, she gave me a tracking number for DHL. When I track my goods with the tracking number, it said that the shipper generated a number, but not handed over the goods to DHL. After several messages to Lisa, she told me she have bad news. Customs in Shenzhen detained my goods and issued a fine? She told me some nonsens about "sensitive" product (which I assume was the batteries inside). Told me I have to pay the fine which is USD 850 to release my goods or it will be destroyed? 🤬 She deliberately gave me a good quote to ship my goods, just to lure me in and then demand more money afterwards. My goods isn't illegal, therefore customs will not detain it, that is just a story to get more money out of me. The quotation was our contract and stated that there will be no additional money paid. They are scammers and needed to be stopped. I have read about the same company doing the exact same modus operandi to another guy. Unfortunately, I have already paid the money. Pleas help me, people like them shouldn't be allowed to get away with this kind of fraud. Thank you. Lettie Henery
