Avant review: Avant dishonestly charging over 150$ for over 1 year after closing account.

I used Avant for a few years. I was working on building my credit. Avant was my highest interest card and it had a monthly fee so it was the first card I paid off. I called to cancel about a year and a half ago, It took me 2 hours on hold then when talking to a person they were very pushy trying to get me to keep it offering me a higher limit. I said no Close the account. they said they did. I just found out they have been charging my bank account every month for over a year, and they put a 17 dollar balance. But I had auto pay even if that was my charge it should have paid it off. But what they did was lock my account after I paid it off and closed the account. Added a 17 dollar balance so there was no way for it to get paid then charged me 8.99 every month to keep it open. I think they are so shady. I have been sending them messages and no response yet. I went by phone before so now I am emailing. The lesson I have learned is to check my bank statements regularly.
