Return transmission
The wrong transmission was sent to the mechanic shop. I have been trying for 2 weeks to get this returned and no answer. I finally received a response yesterday from automotix saying the transmission was the right one. It is not the right one! I need this transmission returned so I can get one that is compatible. Why would the mechanic say he can't use it if he really could not? He's trying to make money as well.

Damaged or Inoperable Transmissions
I have ordered two transmissions from Automotix. The first transmission arrived damaged; shipping container intact, but part visibly damaged. The tail shaft was crushed; pictures included. The second transmission was completely locked up. I spoke with Rob (Robert), a supervisor, who would not give me his last name or extension. I need this resolved now and they are giving me the warranty runaround. This ordeal has caused me to be in a rental car for four weeks and incur further monetary loss in labor charges. The transmission shop that I took my vehicle to is also aggravated as this issue is costing them hassle and lift time.
Would not cancel order
I ordered a transmission from this company on wednesday june 20, 2012. I received a automated email that day that they received order. It stated order would be processed and shipped within 24-48 hrs. On friday after receiving no further information about my order I emailed the company regarding status of my order received absolutely no response back and then checked the order on site and then said order in progress and money was deducted for the order. Now it is Monday june 24, 2012 and still no emails or change in status about shipment. At this point I decided to cancel the order. I called automotix and was put on hold several minutes later I spoke with someone and requested my order be cancel he stated no problem and He would take care of this after being on hold for several more minutes he states to me that he can't cancel the order because it's going to be shipped in 48hrs. I stated to him in almost a week I have heard nothing from the company and received no emails in response to mine that I will go elsewhere. I stated to him that if the order hasn't shipped then I should be able to cancel. he said no that I would have to wait to receive and then have it shipped back at my expense. There are a lot of complaints with this company and am fearful that I to am a victim of a scam with automotix. This was a very expensive order for a transmission and I have had only one conversation with these people who claim on they're site that orders are processed and shipped within 24-48 hrs and that an agent will notify you in reference to your order to make sure it is the correct one.
Because of this I have no choice but to wait and pray that the order is delivered and that there is nothing wrong with it.
Something needs to be done with this company, to stop them from scamming people.
