My girlfriend, who was eight months pregnant at the time, desired a Range Rover. Out of my commitment to her, on 6/13/23 we traveled three hours from PA to NJ to purchase a car advertised at $16,995 on "carsforsale.com," under the seller auto trader wholesale, which seemed to be an acceptable price based on my research on "Kelley Blue Book." After making a $15,000 offer on carsforsale.com, auto trader wholesale agreed to save me $1,000. In that same conversation, I mentioned that I would be paying with a credit card, but they failed to inform me about a 5% charge for such payment and an additional $3,000 to $4,000 in unexplained charges that brought the cost from $16,995 up to $19,900.

Although I forgave the dealership for the obvious bait-and-switch act, a more significant issue arose when my eight-month pregnant girlfriend went to have the car inspected, as the inspection sticker was nearing expiration in 7/ 2023. The mechanic requested the title to initiate the inspection process. When I contacted Auto Trader Wholesale Inc., they insisted that I either pay for a delivery sticker or make the three-hour journey to their dealership to retrieve the title. This contradicted the salesperson's earlier statement during the purchase of the car, where auto trader wholesale inc offered to either send the title when they receive it. Nowhere in that statement was there any mention of creating or having me pay for a delivery sticker.

Upon requesting to speak to the manager, it became evident that I was not dealing with professional salespeople but rather organized scammers, and I made no progress in contacting them. Eventually, I obtained the contact information for the owner, Hany, hoping to explain the situation and find a reasonable resolution. Unfortunately, I discovered that Hany was the leader of the scam and equally unprofessional and unhelpful as his employees.

As a result, I reached out to the New Jersey DMV to explore alternative methods of obtaining the title, bypassing the unprofessional behavior of the Auto Trader Wholesale Inc. scam team. The DMV worker confirmed that when purchasing a car, one is supposed to leave with the title. I asked other professionals and received the same answer, and to make things worst the temporary license plate placed on the car has officially expired on 7/12/23 so now i have a car with an expired license plate and the dealership still havnt send me my title as they originally stated.

Desired outcome: send my title or give me a full refund
