I am complaining about the dispatch number [protected] regarding property located at 550 Ortega Avenue B322 Mountain View, CA 94040. On July 26, 2022, the service was requested for repairing the AC unit. After the original contractor, Ulibas Air Conditioning stated they could not take on this project on, AHS hired Mohin Inc. Mohin Inc. came to inspect and diagnose the problem on July 27, 2022. Since July 27, 2022 until TODAY, September 21, 2022, I cannot get the problem repaired. The residents have been suffering through the heatwave. After numerous telephone conversations with Mohin and AHS, I cannot get the resolution as Mohin Inc. is stating that they need to get authorization from AHS and AHS is stating that Mohin needs to contact them for authorization. During my most recent call on Sept. 21, 2022, with Mohin (at around 10 30 am) and AHS (at arount 11 00 am), I was repetitively told what I just described above. Moraya at Mohin specifically stated that she was reading "off the screen" that Mohin needed authorization and when I called AHS and escalated and spoke with Chuana (escalation dept.), I was told that AHS needed to hear from Mohin. This is absolutely unacceptable. No proactive communication is done by neither the vendor nor insurance company. I specifically stated for the record that if I cannot get this matter resolved amicably (after over TWO months of communications back and forth), I am going to proceed with legal action. I have been having the same problem and would love to join in as well, it has been months and nothing has been done. On top of that, they closed the work order twice once saying my thermostat was fixed which was never broken and they never even touched it, and the other time that I was unreachable.

I have went through the same issue, I did finally after 6 and a half months get the unit replaced but it leaks and they didn't put the insulation on our return to do so.

It must be noted for the record, that MOHIN, Inc is not responsible for issues that are between the homeowner and the warranty company.. We are a subcontractor employed solely by home warranty. Until we receive authorization.(ergo, permission to do the work, as well as I guarantee that we will get paid) we cannot perform the work.

Additionally, it should be noted that in the HVAC industry in general, 3060 and 90 days are not unusual when dealing with a three-way situation: customer/warranties/contractor…

Many customers go 60 days easily without repairs that would be accomplished in less than a week if you were dealing privately with a company. Please take up your concerns with your home warranty, representative.
