Ambiance Television Installers review: TV mount installation gone wrong

Dave from Ambiance Television Installers came to my house on February 5th. I contracted with him to install a TV ceiling mount bracket. When he arrived, he told me a wall mount was more practical for what I was looking to do. He offered to go to Walmart to pick one up. However, the bracket that he picked up did not support my TV. The screw placements to hold the bracket in the wall were only like 8 inches apart and since the standard walls are 16 inches apart (which are what my walls are) only one side could be supported by a stud. He installed it anyway. He told me, it would hold the weight of the TV. My mistake was I didn't make him extend the TV before he left. Now my tv will not extend as it will not support the weight on the right side where the bracket was not installed into the stud. I contacted Dave several times and asked him to come back to make it right and he will not get back to me. He has the receipt for the bracket; thus, I cannot return it. I paid him $225. His labor was $150 and $75 was for a $49.95 bracket. I do not recommend this company, very sloppy workmanship! He left several holes in my wall as he made an error in measuring, the screw that he placed in the stud was installed crooked, he broke a part of my cable and in the end left a tv lopsided on my wall.
