I recently ordered a set of Judging Amy from www.allmytvshows.com and have since found out I was scammed. I was charged over $125.00 and never received the movies. The contact numbers are disconnected and the live chat operators lie and tell you the order is being processed. I have done some investigating and found this site is bogus as is a host of other dvd sales sites. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE COMPANIES!

I purchased the set of Silver Spoons for $65.00 - when I got the order, 5 out of the 10 DVDs do not even work. To top it off, they are copied off TV and horrible quality. I have emailed the company, they say a refund will be processed and a replacement product shipped - well, it's been 4 months now, still no refund - some excuse about a problem with the bank. The problem is with the company - they are a hoax! Their email is orders@tvaddicts.tv - live chat is a hoax too.

DO NOT ORDER FROM ALLMYFAVORITESHOWS.COM OR TVADDICTS.TV

I placed an order with www.allmyfavoriteshows.com. They charged my credit card within 24 hours. Three weeks later I finally received my order. When I opened the box I discovered that half of my dvds were missing and one DVD was broken. I tried calling customer service [protected] like the web page says but could not get through.

I sent many emails to them but heard nothing back. BUYER BEWARE!

Unfortunately I did not research this company prior to ordering. When I searching internet for a solution to my problem, I found many people burned by this company.

It appears they operate under many names and often do not send any shipments at all. I feel special :)

If you type "1-877-7-TV-SHOW" in the search-engine box you will see for yourselve just how many different websites are displayed, all with the same number.

Here is a list of websites they manage and that need to be avoided:

DVDAvenue.tv
DVDCraze.tv,
TVDVDMania.tv,
TVDVDPlanet.com,
TVAddicts.tv,
TVonDisc.com,
Raredvds.tv
empiricalfilm.tv
internationalfilm.tv

Tvdvdplanet also trades on Ebay under these names: greyhare68, *FLASHASH*, shoot.john, huntyoudown. They are being investigated by the Royal Canadian Mounted Police.

If you just place an order with them, cancel your credit card and dispute the charge with your bank.

I placed my order on the 9th of Dec, was billed on the 12th of December. It is the 18th of January and I have not received my product. I have attempted numerous times to contact customer service. The phones are never answered, and the emails I have received state that my order has been sent, and they give me a tracking number, which states after checked that this tracking number does not exist. I signed up for email updates and have yet to receive any. I FINALLY got a hold of a live chat rep today and stated to them that I wanted a refund. She then told me that my order had in fact been sent and was sitting at the US customs inspections. After threatening them with reporting to my credit card company and the Canadian authorities she agreed to grant me a refund. I then promptly (amazingly!) received an email stating that I was to be refunded. We'll see if this happens. She stated that it should appear within 3-5 business days. I have not actually heard of anyone receiving a refund from this company so I do not plan to hold my breath.

Ordered three(3) different series all at one time , $250.00 total.
First set received within one week of ordering. No episode guide, disc not labeled, not in air date sequence, very poor quality copying. Email sent detailing the problems, asked for return authorization so i could return them for a refund.
Second set received while awaiting reply for the first set. Same problems. Email sent requesting return authorization.

Replies received, no return authorization given. Was advised replacements would be sent. Have never received them.

The third series was never received even though shipment notification was sent.

This all took place during midjune time frame

My credit card was charged for the entire order at the time of the first shipment. I have never received a credit back on any of the order, and followup emails have not been answered.

I realize, after reading others' complaints of this company, that I was lucky to receive my DVDs at all. When the DVDs finally arrived I was appalled at their poor quality. They looked like re-recorded videotapes -- the show I ordered had been amateurishly videoed from TV. Plus the first disk I tried was flawed; it irretrievably froze half way through. I shudder to think what's in store for me with the rest of the set. These people, also, were next to impossible to contact either by email or phone. They should be stopped from doing business.

I ordered from their website all the episodes of Cagney and Lacey. Not only are they taped from the television as it advertises the programs on after the show but so far the DVD's I have tried to watch on one disc alone there are three episodes that won't play at all, one stops in the middle of the show and are of general poor quality. I have tried to contact the company without any success and somehow they have managed to remove me from accessing their website. In total I am out of pocket £73.50 but the disappointment of trusting it was a genuine offer for something I have wanted to own for a long time my disappointment is the overriding feeling.

I ordered 2 dvd's from the allmyfavorite shows. com. The first t.v. show "Brooklyn Bridge" came a week after I ordered it, Quality was very poor and came with ads for 1960 cars! The second dvd they said is on it's way. I don't want it but I have no way of canceling it My credit card co. charged me $161.00. Please let me know if there is anything I can do about this. I am a senior citizen on a fixed income and I am housebound.

Thank you, Ruby Orellanes.

It is clear that the DVD's I ordered of that 70's show are copied. The DVD which it was copied on holds only 120 min of recording time and my DVR showed the disc having over 2 hours and 30 min of recorded footage. The episodes skip and on the first disc the frame froze on me and I couldn't at first figure out why. I then tried another one of my DVD players, clicked the next button and showed nothing else recorded. The entire episode was cut off. I am very disappointed because I ordered this DVD collection for my husband's birthday. We cannot keep these. I have tried calling and email but am not able to do neither of the two.

My husband and I placed an online order through www.allmyfavoriteshows.com and ordered a set of WKRP in Cincinnati DVD's. His credit card was immediately charged for the order. After a few weeks we finally received the order and started watching a DVD and realized it was bogus. It would stop and you could see tv commercials in the DVD verifying that it was bootleg and copied on a television. Most of the other DVD's would not even play all the way through. We have turned them into the Industry Canadian office who investigages Canadian companies. I hope they can help me get my money back and put them out of business.

On 8/4/2007 We ordered A dvd show for $88.18. We were told the invoice would be e-mailed. 8/10/2007 still no e-mail, put through 12 music loops. The 1 to 2 week delivery passed. Credit card charges were for more than originally agreed to. 8/17/2007 still no e-mail, put through 7 music loops. Spoke to Marie and told they would send invoice e-mail within the hour and hung up. Delivery now stated 2 to 4 weeks. 9/7/2007 still can not get through to company, get an invoice or DVD's. DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY. Because of this order our e-mail address was sold to a number of other companies. We are also being harassed by companies on the phone and mail daily.

I am sending a complaint to the FBI about these Canadians. The company is in Canada, and they will not take calls if you complain. I have tried for two years to get my money back and they don't respond. The have infringed copyrighted material and need to be punished. I believe the fine is $250, 000.00

Names of companies are changing but products remain the same. They always seem to be recent companies and web pages don't remain open long. Most do not list an actual addresses. Look at the contact information if it's vague or suspicious there's a reason. One that I was recently concerned with " WOstore" has closed down their website. I would offer caution to the following.

Oh come on. Did you really think you were getting legitimate releases? 90% of these shows have never been released, and never will be.

Yeah, it's a pirate site, but that's pretty obvious going in. I've bought a few series from them, and always gotten exactly what I expected--VHS -quality repros on burned DVD-Rs. But that's better than never getting the shows at all.

I'm just sorry that they seem to have gotten shut down before I could pick up a few more series. Alas.

I ordered a complete set of "EMERGENCY" dvds with John and Roy. They charged me $96. oo for a Fathers Day Special. It took about 6 weeks for my order to arrive. When I got my order and began viewing the episodes there were partial episodes and comercials. These dvds were copied from TV Land right from the airwaves. I was very displeased with them. Some episodes are incomplete and then repeated on other discs. I would not buy from them ever again. Also everyone be aware that these same people also run TVADDICTS.COM. When I complained about my order then they responded to me from this other website.

Can anyone confirm that stylerunway is the same company. If so there website should be closed. The attourney general should be able to close down this site. I had a similar problem with a Company in the States and the attorney general was excellent and closed down their business and stopped them on the internet also.

Also I paid with debit card - because it had the visa sign on my card, it covers you and the banks will refund the money.

I was also scammed thru this website. I paid 130 dollars for Falcon Crest full series, A month later I recieved an "Envelope" witht he whole dvd series stuffed in it. The envelope was opened, dvds were missing from it and the remaining ones were damaged and the plastic covers chipped all over. So basically what i recieved was scattered damaged episodes. I have been trying to contact them since August and it is now December in Vain. I was never issued a replacement or my money back. They stopped answering back my emails. I stay on hold on their number for over 40 minutes with stupid loud music playing and then they hung up on you all of a sudden. Please Be ware, never buy from this website.

Hi Everyone - I too have fallen victim (for the same reasons listed above by others) to www.allmyfavoriteshows.com, BUT, I have just RECEIVED A REFUND from them to my visa credit card - they didn't refund the shipping cost though but my bank's credit card division is now pursuing them for that component after informing me that in cases like this they should be refunding the entire amount of the disputed transaction that shows on your credit card statement - let me tell you how I achieved this as my research shows that some other people have also received refunds.

I did receive 3 out of the 4 DVD sets I ordered back in late September 2007 BUT there were many problems with them along the lines others have mentioned in these posts and I complained to them and got a replacement for one set which still had the same problems! However, I still have NOT yet received the fourth set of DVDs more than 5 weeks after my online order and told them in my last online Live Chat with them (on 23 October 2007) that I now do not want any more sent to me and I want a full refund as I have not received what I ordered. After I told them I had reported them to my bank's visa credit card section (who are now pursuing a "chargeback" refund for me) and that I will report them to the Canadian authorities they tried everything to convince me to wait for "new, perfectly working" replacement DVDs and I then said I'd Googled their name and found many complaints filed about them and, as a result, I do not believe anything they tell me and that any replacements will still have the problems or missing discs or missing episodes and she then said I could have a refund. I asked for a reply paid postal bag to return the faulty DVDs (their website said they will do this) but nothing has been sent to me.

They told me a range of lies in Live Chat and they will even stop answering your questions if it gets too difficult for them - one of their Live Chat operators Karen simply disconnected our Live Chat after awhile. A few days later I had a Live Chat with Marie who was easier to deal with and I told her my story and then caught her out lying when she had had the nerve to give me a postal Tracking Number and the Canada Post website www.canadapost.ca and told me I can check the progress of one of my fourth item ordered - I checked it while I had her in the Live Chat and was able to inform her the result came up saying it was an "Unknown Tracking Number" – clearly she lied to me – all she could say was that she'd have to get in contact with Canada Post - I had already been told 3 difffering things about that set of DVDs (once that it was shipped on 3 October then when I chatted with them a few days later I was told it had not been shipped and then finally they told me on 23 October it had been shipped and that's when she gave me that false Tracking Number)!

Now here's something for you all to consider, I took digital snapshots of their Live Chat screen as our chat progressed as I thought this could be good evidence to use against them with my bank and with the relevant authorities. She seemed fazed when I told her I had photographed our Live Chat as it progressed as she stopped answering me for awhile and then she came back after I insisted she respond to me and then she said I could have a refund to my credit card if I wished but it would take 10 business days to process. Beware also because if they agree to refund you then they will try to explain their way out of refunding the shipping component but you are entitled to a full refund.

The lesson here everyone is that you MUST be firm and threaten www.allmyfavoriteshows.com (and the various other website addresses they use) via their Live Chat feature that you will pursue a "chargeback" (refund) through your credit card issuer (bank) and you WILL report them to other relevant authorties (police, Consumer Affairs Dept etc) and DO report them as they deserve nothing less! Remember to take digital photos of the Live Chat screen on your PC as it progresses when you have Live Chats with them and then tell them you have done that and tell them you have saved all emails between them and you and that you WILL use this as evidence against them if a refund is not quickly forthcoming. Your bank may also want copies of relevant documents when you pursue the chargeback thru them. Just be firm and, above all, be persistent - keep Live Chatting with them until they agree to a refund - keep notes of the important points in your Live Chats so you can refer to it next time you Live Chat with them so as to catch them out lying.

I hope this helps all of you who have similarly been duped by this shady company and their various other names.

Do not do business with this website. They charge you and do not deliver the DVD'S. The phone number is bogus and they do not return e-mails. I would advise everyone to cancel their credit cards and get a new one issued, since they have your card number, they can shop using your card. The on-site live chat person lies to you and tells you your purchase has been shipped.

I also ordered the Judging Amy series. After a long wait I finally got the delivery. The quality is terrible. Not only do the DVDs look like RE-recorded videotapes (which they probably are recorded from) but every single disc freezes and will not continue to play. I cannot believe these scam artists are getting away with cheating people like this! All these complaints have been made... is anything being done to stop these crooks?

I'm just the latest of many victims of AllMyFavoriteShows. I ordered two dvds from them on July 24, 2007 and as of this writing (Aug 24, 2007) I still have not received dvds or a refund even though their site clearly states you will receive your merchandise within 12-14 days of order.

Below is an e-mail I sent to AllMyFavoriteShows.com in response to my order, it pretty much sums up my problems with them:

" At AllMyFavoriteShows, we are comitted to providing our clients with the highest level of customer service. " I read this and wonder how you can deliver to me what you did. I received the above mentioned order. 17 burned DVD's with the scrubs series on it. Half of the DVD's won't play. Most of them can only play 2 or 3 episodes, then will freeze halfway through the next episode. By far the most disappointing part of it though is that you didn't deliver the entire series. I had e-mailed you guys asking if scrubs season 6 was included and you assured me it was. Your website even has it listed as Scrubs Seasons 1-6, yet on Disk 17 there are only the last few episodes of season 5. I would like you to do the following: Give me a return address where I can mail these DVD's back to, Refund me the money I have spent on this transaction or at the very least sending me a working product, Fix your website because it is incorrect in its listing of this product.

I ordered from this company... you need to call their 800 number before 8 am if you really want to talk to someone... you also have to follow up daily with the tracking information... they told me it was on backorder after I called them, then it was shipping... the canada post office had no information on the tracking number that they gave me... finally after several threats to contact the attorney general, banks, credit cards, and anyone else... I got my package... unfortunately... the set that I got isn't playing the video the whole way through... So back to the threats and when I finally do get my videos... I WILL CONTACT THE ATTORNEY GENERAL, THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU, AN ATTORNEY, AND EVERY CREDIT CARD COMPANY THAT I CAN FIND TO PUT THEM ON THE "WATCH LIST" FOR FRAUDULENT PRACTICES.

I purchased Boston Public from this company and received it all right. It was recorded from the WE network. Did have some bad quality on one of the episodes, but overall so far it has been adequate. I have been searching for episodes on DVD of "I'll Fly Away", a critically-acclaimed, but moderately successful series in the 90s. Having checked my local Barnes and Noble in-store computer data-base of DVDs available, "I'll Fly Away" did not show up. However, searching on the web, I found Allmyfavoriteshows.com. I was a little surprised that ONLY they offered this series. The packaging shown looks pretty professional, but the synopsis of the show was written by someone with a fifth grade education (or a non-native speaker). The grammar is horrendous. That was the give-away. I then merely "googled" "Complaints Allmyfavoriteshows.com" and up popped this website. I suspected that they were copying VHS recordings of shows onto DVD. I also suspect that they reason they are still in business is that despite the ".com" URL, they are not operating in the US, and US law enforcement has no jurisdiction unless there is an importer involved. If individuals order from overseas, I don't think US authorities have much leverage. I know some US corporation must own the rights to the show I was interested in, but I suspect that they are unable to seek redress under the laws of the country where this place is operating from. Unfortunately, the internet has many characteristics of the "Wild West".
