Beware! I recently purchased 2 puppies from Allstar Acres OES, one for me and one for my daughter. We did a lot of research for the right babies for us. I was purchasing one because my husband recently passed away and I wanted a companion. My daughter got one because she wanted a friend for her Emotional support dog. We thought we had found the right breeder. We check all reviews and only found reviews that stated she didn't answer her phone or respond to text. So we sent in our deposit and waited for an answer. It took a few days but when she responded she explained she had been on vacation. After that she was responsive to our texts. We chose our puppies and just waited for our pickup date. We were very excited and decided to make a road trip from Florida to Pennsylvania for pickup on Wednesday, November 11, 2020. We leave Florida on Monday, November 9th, it was a very nice trip. We arrive at our time 12:30 pm, and the person in front of us left and I went in and my daughter stayed in the car. I meet with Tina. There were three puppies in her "office", she asked who I was there for and I told her Birdie and Gus (that is the name we gave them and her daughters have been training them for 2 weeks but more on that later). She started getting the information together having me to fill out paperwork, she shows me the "medical records". They were written in the back of a little booklet by her, stating what shots that had been done on each and she was sending home a wormer for each one to take 1cc for 3 days. She then tells me that Gus (my daughter's puppy) paw pads were really red and she wasn't sure why but she thought it maybe because of the rocks she had in her driveway. She then tells me that Birdie (my puppy) was not a good eater and didn't do well with training because she was not "food motivated". She was very small you could feel all her bones but she said for me to feed her wet food that should do the trick. I grab the puppies and left her house. We headed back to Florida, our first stop was in the parking lot of the Dollar General, the puppies drank 2 bottles of water and Gus would not stand up because his little paws hurt so bad one paw he would not put down at all. We continue our journey and Birdie started coughing and gagging. We feed them and both puppies ate almost 2 bowls of food. They were starving… but remember she told me Birdie didn't like to eat. We got back to Florida take both puppies to the vet the next morning, my daughter was meeting me to pick up her ESA she had boarded and take him home and I stayed with the puppies. The puppies go in for their exams and the vet tech came out and asked where the health records were and I told him that I gave all the information to them. He went back in and out came the vet very upset. I found out that we were suppose to get a certified health record because both puppies had Giardia (these puppies are from different litters born on the same day). My puppy, Birdie, was very underweight and her cough was due to the parasites that she had. Gus was a little underweight but not as much a Birdie and Gus's paw pads and anus (we didn't know this until the vet inform us) were from prolonged exposure to urine. After composing myself I sent Tina a text message informing her of these findings. She tells me that she knew that the puppies had Giardia that is why she sent home the wormer. She never informed me that either puppy had Giardia which is highly contagious and could have been spread to my daughter's ESA and my cats. We had to board my daughter's dog in order for Gus to take his medicine and get rid of the parasites. Birdies is still coughing but she will be checked again on Friday as well as Gus. Oh and NO I will not be feeding my puppy pawTree food. I don't take to well to someone telling me what to feed a puppy, that I just paid very good money for. In the contract she says that the contract is null and void if you don't feed your puppy pawTree... That she makes money off of by the way. How can someone tell you what to feed your puppy when you didn't have the decency to take all precautions to "send home at time of sale the Dog was in excellent health. The Dog has received appropriate vaccinations and care to date. Buyer will be supplied with the Dog's medical records". She also said she sent a stool sample to Dr. Connie before pickup date and that when she found out they had Giardia. We called Dr. Connie for Medical records and were told that she only brought in One stool sample but they didn't know from which puppy, which tells me that ALL her puppies have this parasite. PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS BREEDER, SHE IS NO FORTHCOMING WITH THE HEALTH OF HER PUPPIES. Tina you should be ashamed of yourself. I also want to recommend not using her training classes.

You were sent home with a guarantee of good health which is clearly outlined on the sales contract that you signed. The sales contract is located on my website as well. You were also sent home with the puppy medical records which is the New Puppy Handbook. This book list dates of vaccines, type of vaccines administered and dewormings the pups have had. It is a booklet I purchase and hand out to all new owners, it has a wealth of information on caring for your new puppy.

I did ask that only one person come into the office because of the Covid-19 pandemic. When I read your review I was confused as to why you mention my office the way you do. ( There were three puppies in her "office" ) Yes my office, a small 12x16 room. A room that I personally built in the garage in March when the pandemic began and I could no longer welcome families into my home. Unlike you I do not own a $1, 600, 000 home in Tallahassee Florida. I am perfectly content with my farm house out in the country. I did not get to go over everything with you about both Gus and Birdie because you were in such a rush to get out of my "office". Gus was very well trained in the two weeks McKenna worked with him. She sent you several videos of him sitting, stay, lay down and going potty outside. I told you Birdie did not do as well with training because she was not food motivated, In her two week training she was taught to potty outside and sit, She did not learn stay or lay down. I told you she was the smallest in the litter and was a finicky eater and that you could add boiled chicken to her dry food. I also told you Gus had sore spots on his foot pad either from the blue rock dust in the outside play area or because he pooped in his crate 2 nights before he was picked up. NEVER EVER have my babies stood in urine for long periods of time. That information came from the same veterinarian that told Robin that it is nearly impossible and highly unlikely that the two puppies share the same birth date and that I have falsified their parentage. I of course sent Robin a time stamped photo of the pups being born the ON THE SAME DAY, Maybe the veterinarian should realize it is actually common to have pups born on the same day and that the only thing that is highly unlikely is that my puppies have ever had prolonged exposure to standing in urine. Also the veterinarian may like to know that Giardia in no way causes a cough. More on that below...

Had you stuck around long enough I would have explained to you as I do all new owners I do not feed the babies before they are picked up because they get car sick within the first half hour of the ride and puke which can cause them to choke. You can feed after the first hour of the car ride. Two bowls of food and two bottles of water when they weighed only about 5 pounds? I simply can not imagine.

Yes I sent home panacur for ALL pups to be given for a 5 day period. When one puppy in a litter has any type of worm/parasite you treat all pups. It is common for my pups to get giardia, My pups live on a farm, I do not keep my pups in cages all day like some breeders, Sure if they were in wire cages all day long they wouldn't be exposed to anything, My pups run and play, my pups get to go outside, chase chickens, eat grass, play ball, go for walks, How do you expect them to be socialized if they are caged all day? Giardia is one of the most common intestinal parasites in both dogs, wildlife and humans. It is caused by a single-celled organism called a protozoan parasite. Puppies with a giardia infection may or may not show any symptoms. If they do, the most common one is diarrhea and less frequently, vomiting. The giardia organism is very hardy in its cystic form, which is the form that is shed by feces and then transmitted to puppies through contaminated food, water, and even grass and dirt if your puppy chews or eats it. Since dogs love to put things in their mouths, this means that there are plenty of ways your dog can pick up the parasite in his environment, whether it is by chewing on a stick, eating poop, or drinking from a puddle. It is thought that up to half the population of young puppies will contract giardiasis at some point, due to their less-developed immune systems. Unfortunately, giardia is often found in tap water. Giardia can in fact be passed from pup to human but in most cases, it’s not very likely.. This is especially true if you follow basic hygiene recommendations, such as washing your hands with warm, soapy water after handling your pup.

I'm guessing Robin does not recommend the training program because she says it is an annoying inconvenience that training has to continue beyond the two week training program because pups do not retain that information before 12-16 weeks of age...Again- that information came from the same veterinarian that said my pups were not born on the same day and proven wrong.

Most upsetting in her review is that I care more about money than my puppies. Kinda makes ya wonder why it is then that I donate $4500 puppies to Children's hospitals, cancer patients and even adults such as Jenevieve (Peach) Woods who was in need of a service dog to help her stand up but could not afford what she needed. My dogs are my heart, No-one can take that away from me. pictures attached of my babies being born the same day, yes after 30 years its still exciting to me, I am with every dog that whelps! Also a picture of my "office". Videos of the pups training and their health book can be seen on my website. Have a safe Covid free 2021!
