800vmailbox was added to my Verizon service supposedly by me online, I never authorized it and had no knowledge of it until I received my bill with a $14.95 addition to my account. I called Verizon support and was told that I had added it online and received two emails notifying me of the change, I did not receive the emails. I think 800vmailbox is a scam.

So I just want everyone to know that I dont really check my autodrafts, but was curious today and found out that this 800vmailbox has been charging my ATT account 14.95 a month for the past year. I am calling them today to see what can be done.

This happened to our place of business. We called and were told that my boss, who never deals with this sort of stuff, had ordered and confirmed this via his email, which was a definite red flag. They could not even give us the correct email address for him. They wanted to know what email address to send the confirmation of the refund and cancellation. My boss told them that they were not getting an email address from us and that he wanted a confirmation faxed to him ASAP. The lady on the phone had to go and ask her supervisor if this was okay as they only dealt with email addresses(Hmmm). This was a month ago. I just got our current bill and there is another charge on the bill...and no credit. How can people be allowed to do this?

This is what just happened to me. The only difference is that I called 800vmailbox number. The agent who answered only wanted to cancel the account, but not refund the charges. I asked for proof of my request of service and he transferred me to a Customer Service Specialist. This emailed me what they call the LOA (Letter of Agency) and what I have supposedly filled out including some information that only me would know.

When I reviewed I found out that my name and address were not written in the way I do (in formatting), my address was not completed and my mother's maiden name not even close to the real one. In other words, somebody else than me filled it out...

I called them back and after explaining the situation to another CSS, they agreed to refund al my charges, the account was frozen already, but regarding the fraud, nothing...suggestion: Talk to Verizon...Unbelievable!
