Just bought a 2015 yukon. And the dealer thru in the extended warranty and in my excitement of my purchase I agreed and purchased the warranty as well. As a fairly new car owner im thinking the extended warranty will provide that added security of my purchase. One week into driving the vehicle the power seat malfunctioned. Fwd movement but did not move backward... So I checked my warranty contract to make sure I had coverage on the power seat... Talked to the zurich agent and he assured me that I had coverage on the power seat.
Get it to the shop and well its not the motor its the "switch" thats bad? Here is where zurich gets slick in the coverage language. If its not listed its not covered. I call the zurich agent again and he directs me to the language in the contract over and over again as if im illiterate! See the game is to partially cover not fully cover your vehicle. A motor is covered but a seal which is part of the motor is not.
