The first thing I wanna say is how much I luv luv luv the stuff you get from YumeTwins, it's AMAZING! The cute plushies, hats, housewares, and toys all have a Japanese vibe that just makes me feel like I'm at a con shopping till I drop.

When I come home from a long day at work and see that blue and purple box waiting for me, it just makes me soooo happy. I feel like Japan has come to me!

I recently had an experience with YumeTwins, and let me tell you, it wasn't great. Due to the current situation in the world, I am trying to save every penny I can, but back in April, I bought a one-month subscription for my wife's birthday since she liked the stuff in the May box (which has yet to be received due to current events).

I thought I had made sure that I wasn't signing up for an auto-renewing subscription, but let me tell you, they made it incredibly difficult to figure that out. It was like a game of "don't press the buttons and find the link," which was absolutely awful.

I apparently missed the email and charge for the June box. Maybe it's because I didn't think I would be getting them, but I was extremely surprised when my wife brought up the fact that I had two more charges on my account for boxes. To put it simply, I was pissed.

I have been trying to get a refund, but the company has responded that once a charge goes through, it can't be refunded, and I did indeed sign up for a renewing subscription. Let me tell you, that made me even angrier.

The website design is shady and misleading. I originally looked at the gift options for boxes, but at the time, buying a gift box never said that I would be getting the May box, which was the only box my wife wanted. So, not wanting to risk messing up, I started a monthly subscription and I guess misunderstood some things due to the language the site used.

On top of that, I didn't verify my email until I realized the charges had happened. That's right, I had no way of knowing that the company had even sent me an email. From their perspective, the only way I was guaranteed to find out about the additional boxes was via a charge on my account. And once that charge went through, I had no way of refunding it. Do you see the problem here? To me, that seems like theft.

Overall, my experience with YumeTwins was not great, and I would not recommend them. The website design is shady, and the customer service left a lot to be desired. If you are considering subscribing, I would urge you to think twice and be very careful.

Love getting my YumeTwins box in the mail every month! The items are always so kawaii and make me feel like a kid again. However, there was one time where an item arrived broken and it was a bummer. Customer service didn't respond right away and when they did, it took a while to get a replacement. But when everything does come in perfect condition, it's definitely worth it! The plushies are always so soft and the stationery is functional and adorable. Can't wait for next month's box!

I gotta be honest, when I got my hands on the YumeTwins box I was a bit underwhelmed. The amount of stuff inside was on the small side and didn't really stand out from things I could pick up right here in Belgium. Plus, the price tag didn't really match up with what I ended up getting.

I have been using this service to get my hands on some of the cutest stuff available in the market. The only downside, however, is that I was charged for three boxes without my consent. I did try to cancel before they charged me for the third box but it was so hard to figure out how to do that!

Moreover, the shipping cost is a bit high as $35 is the minimum charge for Sea Mail, and if you want to upgrade to Air Mail, you'll need to pay $10 extra. It's kind of expensive but hey, who doesn't love kawaii products, right? Unfortunately, I never received my packages, which is a bummer. Instead, I stumbled upon a note saying "Refused," for all three boxes.

I'm not going to lie; I was disappointed and didn't know what to do next. However, I decided to act quickly and requested a dispute on the first box that I purchased. I hope to hear back from them soon, and if they do, I'll update this review with more information.

Despite the few hiccups I experienced, I believe YumeTwins is a fantastic service for anime fans out there. It's a perfect subscription box service for anyone who loves kawaii, Japanese pop culture. It's easy to sign up, and the process is straightforward.
