When I accessed my YTD PRO on my pc it came up with a message that it was time to renew so I went through the motions of ordering renewal for a 2-year period and received my new license key. I just check my bank account and found two charges that were both processed on Jan 7, 2022. One was from YTD-PRO.co for $66.00 USD ($87.55 CAD) and the other was from Paddle.net for $53.97 CAD with no indication as to what it was for and I didn't recognize the name 'Paddle' so I went online to try to connect to paddle.net and an online assistant (a bot) identified the transaction as a charge for YTD PRO and told me the following:
"Spigot, Inc. has asked for you to contact them directly at: https://www.ytddownloader.com/contact_us.html"
I did that and am waiting for a response from Spigot. One of these two charges is definitely fraudulent as I only placed an order once using the renewal notice that popped up on my screen with the app when I clicked on the YTD icon with the intent to download a video.
When I tried to google YTD-PRO.co the following message appeared on my screen:
"This site can't be reached. Check if there is a typo in ytd-pro.co."
So it appears that YTD-PRO.co doesn't exit and is fraudulent. I'm looking for a refund of the amount that was removed from my account fraudulently.
Desired outcome: Refund
I received an unauthorized charge from YTD Pro in the amount of $66; I'm no longer using this app and so I shouldn't be receiving any charges. I tried calling the number provided and I got no answer. How can clear this & get a refund?
i had no idea you would continue to withdraw from my account when your product does not work on my machine. I am requesting a complete fee to be put back into my account. Then cancel my account.
