In the Tax year 2018, my employer, Witte Home Solutions, used the wrong EIN number on the w-2 that I used to file with VA State. I am an employee, not a contractor, getting hourly pay, with taxes deducted from my check. I have been employed with them since 2016. Currently the commonwealth of Virginia is asking for the taxes to be paid and are taking me to collections. The state is requesting a letter from my employer, stating taxes were paid, and needs to be on company letter head with contact information of the management. This has been requested by me and by a letter from my lawyer, with no appreciable results. No joy, no letter. I was referred to the BBB by VA taxation, is there anything you can do to help me with my plight?

Desired outcome: Prove VA taxes were paid by getting a letter from my employer stating this, with contact information of who to call or write.
