I purchased 2 Pomeranian puppies at the same time from Kathy Inman in 2020. The adoption process was lengthy, first I had to place deposits for upcoming litters, then I waited a year an a half for my puppies to be finally born. I thought that the wait was worth it, but unfortunately I was wrong. My both puppies have heart defects, Kathy didn't disclose it before I paid for them unfortunately. I found out about it when I first time took them to my vet. I wrote and told Kathy about it right away, but she was reluctant with replying. Finally when she replied she said that sometimes small puppies have such problems and they would outgrow it. Both puppies have grade 4 heart murmurs and I had to spent over $10.000 to save their lives. My 2 poms are now 10 lb each, way too big to be standard size Pomeranians. My merle girl has thin coat compared to the Black and Tan one. The breeder blocked me after I wrote to her few more times. I met few other people on social media who purchased a Pomeranian from Windsong Poms. Their babies had problems with underbite, alopecia, bad knees. Two girls on FB lost their dogs that were purchased from Kathy Inman due to heart and liver failure. One is battling a cancer and lost one eye due to a cancerous tumor. Kathy Inman is a breeder that doesn't care about quality, she just cares about the money and how may puppies she produces a year. She is NOT a reputable, ethical breeder like I thought.
I also am having a problem I purchased a puppy a year ago all was great and she started limping and now she can't use her back right leg. her veterinarian did x rays and sent them to the Washington college of veterinary medicine. the report is lengthy
Five views of the pelvis/hind limbs, dated 7/1/22, are reviewed.
The right patella is medially luxated and displaced, and is superimposed over the distal femur
on the lateral view. This is resulting in medial rotation of the tibial tuberosity and an s-shaped
configuration of the stifle joint. The articular surfaces of the distal femur and proximal tibia are
subsequently angled in a distolateral to proximomedial orientation. On the CC view, the
proximomedial aspect of the tibia appears remodeled. The left patella is also luxated, but is not
as far displaced as the right.Therefore, this stifle has a more normal configuration. There is
moderate atrophy of the right thigh musculature. Disuse osteopenia is appreciated in the right
hindlimb, most notable at the level of the stifle and pes. No abnormalities are identified in the
right pes or pelvis.
Conclusions
Bilateral medial patellar luxations, with the right further displaced. Resultant S-shaped
deformity of the right stifle with disuse osteopenia and muscle atrophy.
She will need expensive surgery. I hope this does not happen to anyone else.
I e mailed Kathy twice with no response. I did not want to post a comment as she was great at the beginning when I was looking for a puppy but but this is something I would have had her adress.
This is the Biggest bunch of Lies I have ever heard. Clearly Anyone who knows Kathie Inman knows she is one of the most Ethical Honest People I have Ever had the Honor Of knowing.. I have purchased many puppies over the last 11 years from Kathie and have had nothing but Amazing Wonderful puppies ever. Who ever this person is A Huge Liar. I can’t even believe this is even real! Her line has produced some of the top dogs in the US. She has done some Phenominal work with the Merle line! This is written by a malicious liar! Obviously someone who is very troubled and jealous . Kathie is Amazing and Everyone who has truly had any dealings with her knows this is the Biggest [censored] Of Crap Ever!
I have bought puppies from Kathy Inman for several years now. I have NEVER had an issue with a sick puppy. Once I purchased a boy with a retained testical. She offered right away to take him back and replace. We decided to keep him as we loved him. I am a breeder and I have several of her dogs. She has ALWAYS been honest and upfront about her puppies. I do not believe that the above review is honest or correct. I would also like to see proof. The Kathie Inman I know is beyond reproach. As a breeder I have done DNA on all her dogs. All are healthy and beautiful dogs
I have no idea who you are but I have never sold a puppy to anyone that had any serious health issue and not try my best to make it right. Furthermore I very rarely except a deposit before pups are born and have never had anyone contact me after a pup was sold to tell me that they had a heart issue. If that would have happened a replacement pup would have been offered.
This review is all lies, lies, lies!
I would like to see proof of these issues you are accusing me of from your vet, pics of the pups I supposedly sold you, and also proof that you contacted me and told me about this.
I also have worked with Kathy Inman. I have several of her dogs and have found her to be completely honest and trustworthy. I am a breeder and I look for healthy social puppy to add to my line. Only once was there an issue of a retained testical. Kathy was very fast to offer another boy. We love this little guy and chose to keep him. We have completed the DNA on all her dogs. Finding them all to be healthy and social puppies/dogs. I would also like to see proof of these charges. Kathy has worked with me for years and I trust her evaluation of her dogs completely. A persons reputation is very important in this business. I find false reviews to be hateful and completely improper.
Anyone who knows Kathie Inman knows she is one of the most ethical honest people we have we have ever had the pleasure of knowing. It truly is an honor to have one of her wonderful puppies I have purchased many puppies from Kathie Inman over the last 11 years. I have had nothing but the most Amazing puppies ever. I showed them and bred them in my younger years. Always healthy well put together pups with solid confirmation, and bone. Great bites. Good patellas. And Awesome dispositions. Her line is one of the finest and has produced some of the top Poms in the US in my opinion. She has done some phenominal work with the merle line in which she was recognized and written about in an article. Kathie is an incredible lady and everyone who has truly had dealings with her knows this is false. I find this review to be malicious and complexity unfounded. Her reputation is outstanding.
