Willwork Inc. review: Drugged-up Junkie City Manager 33

I've known Brad for a long time...he's now dead, drug overdose.
His replacement is no better.He just hides his problems better.
I've been lied to, had monies owed me withheld, hours worked intentionally not paid, expenses not paid and I know of more employees having the same problems.
In this economy many of my co-workers are afraid to ask for the monies owed them because they know if they do they WILLNOTWORK AGAIN.
And I am speaking from experience.That is where Local 831 comes into the picture, they are not doing their job representing their members in a dutiful professional manner. My next step is the labor board !

I totally agree with Delly! Brad was the best person I've ever known... Kind hearted, loving, and giving! He will be missed by the ones who truly knew him. Rest in peace my best friend. I miss and love you very much!

I don't know if anyone will ever come back to this page now that Brad has been gone for over a year but it still feels like yesterday to me. I knew Brad well, maybe better than anyone. I knew Brad on a personal level and a professional level. Although Brad and I did not speak towards the end of his life, I still cared for him and had compassion for him. It makes me so sad to see the lack of compassion in this world with all of these emails, even after he has passed. True, Brad did do a lot of things that he was accused of on this site however, Brad struggled from the day he was born and none of that was his fault. Brad worked hard for many years to turn his life around and become healthy. Unfortunately in the end he could take the demons anymore. I think you all must have very sad lives yourself to speak in such a way of another human being, especially when you don't really know what was going on. I am not making excuses for Brad, he chose his path and unfortunately it was not a good one. What you people don't think about is the people who cared about Brad, instead you slander their friend, brother, uncle, wife, father and son. I wish I had written this before but you should all be ashamed of yourselves, how dare you judge someone you didn't even know. It's like saying that you are an expert on a topic that you know nothing about. We all have good and bad in us but no one has the right to judge another. At least that's what I believe. Brad's good side was better than most. He was giving and sensitive and loving, an amazing musician and quite clever and funny. If you knew Brad even a little bit and were fortunate to experience any of those beautiful qualities about him, than I challenge you to celebrate them rather than drag his name through the mud. Only a real man or woman is capable of seeing the good in all people. I know more than anyone what Brad did wrong but I choose to celebrate what Brad did right. I hope one of you read this and learn something, than maybe you won't continue the negativity. Rest in peace Cricket, I know you are finally where you wanted to be and I know you will now have serenity for the first time in your life. xoxo Delly

Brad was a friend of mine also. Always seemed to work hard and ran a decent group. Being my shop neighbor, I never noticed the
behavior and problems mentioned here. Except for his choice of "ladies". This last year was really tough for him...He lost.
You people criticizing his speech...he had a hard to understand voice at all times. Were any of you actually at the situation where he attacked the competitor? Did any of you speak directly with Brad? I did. He was threatened by "victim" with violence and chose to respond immediately rather than wait to be attacked. How about that? Any of you been there before? Yes, he had some demons
and he dealt with them as well as he could. They won.
The loser here is the child he left behind with Heather.
Not even a year old... child of a woman who shouldn't have her.

Brad Faulkner was a good friend of mine and when I worked for him years ago at Preferred, I saw none of these negative traits, only a hard worker. Brad passed away last night. RIP my brother.

Your boss is cruel. Yelling. Manipulative games. Arrogance. If dealing with your boss is a royal pain and your company does not have the proper communication channels set up for you to address the issue, it might be time to move on. A bad boss might be tolerable, but a sadistic boss is unacceptable. The normal signs of a substance abuser, lying and blaming everyone else for their problems, temper tantrums, stating others have a drug or alcohol problem. Sometimes the company cares . Most of the time they just chase the almighty dollar. The public should look deeper into the companies they do business with. Let your conscious guide you, not your pocketbook. It's cheaper in the long term.

Willwork should have Brad neutered, then he will stop humping everybody's leg.

If I lose work because of Willworks efforts to crush their competition by attacking them they will pay. What kind of company would even think of doing what they did? Willwork you don't own the halls out here in California .Your actions have put 2, 000 union members jobs at risk, We want to work out here. We want to feed our families. You have put that all at risk because you kept a thug working for you.

Sounds like Willwork needs to pull their head out of their a__, clean house and make amends to the people that this idiot has affected . I wonder how many lawsuits this idiot has brought on himself and Willwork Inc.

He was doing the same thing at Preferred before they went out of business. What was Willwork thinking, that they could fix this junky.How's that working for you Willwork?

Willwork shouldn't be allowed to do any business in So Cal because of the problems that they have caused here . When the associations vote on where they want their next show to be I don't think they will want it where the workers get attacked while working on an attendees booth. The associations will vote to have it in Florida or Vegas. Willwork won't care they do business in those cities . The members of Local831 will suffer, 2000 union members will not be working in Southern California . The problems that you caused have damaged the Tradeshow business in our area for years to come . The problems that you had with 300EE were yours, now their problem with you is ours also . Willwork, you must condone the actions of your city manager Brad Faulkner, otherwise you would have fired him for his actions . I'm not even going to attempt to go into Brad's problems as that seems to bring up childish responses from him or his friends .

This company claims on their website that they are prepared for any problems . They seem to forget to fix problems with their own management first and the rest will fix themselves.

Drugys and abusers don't get better without help . This company may have driven this guy to do what he did. They should pay to help this guy. He may be trying to figure out his sexual orientation.

Who was this [censor] boss while all this was going on ? How could he let him get away with all of this ? There are a lot of good people looking for work and a company allows a [censor] like this to still work for them. Don't hire them until management changes, apologizes and fires these types with anger management and drug problems.

I'm out in L.A. for a show and heard that this lowlife is still working for them. Shame on them. His problems aren't new . The police took him off the floor a couple of years ago in L.A. the union stewards told me . Good luck with Brad and his phone games I always used to have one of his homeys call him if I had a question for him. He would always dodge calls from clients. Boy where was that breakfast at ? Sounds like Willwork didn't make any friends there. I knew that some people didn't like Brad but didn't know about some of these reasons . You can only step in it for so long before it starts to stick. I have no reason to call Brad for work or to even return his voicemails when he needs help since he won't even give you the courtesy of a call to tell you that he has filled a position or not. anyone else will give you a courtesy call . He does nothing but play games .

I've always liked using Willwork . Now I am looked at as someone that supports an abuser. I do not, so I will be changing to another I&D as soon as I can come to terms with someone else. I always thought Brad was high whenever I saw him . The last few times I was in SoCal he had his guys tell me he was out of town. When I spoke to him on one trip, from what I could understand he said he was out of town.When I received my cell bill I was very surprised to see that his calls were from Long Beach Ca. I was in Long Beach and he didn't show up, Probably kept the roads a bit safer though. Some of my clients have heard about him beating up on the 300EE guys both in Vegas And San Diego . They don't like violence yet you walk around stating I told Mike not to try to open up in my city. Really bright! Willwork may get the point when they don't have anymore clients . Don't support violence, nor abusers on or off the floor, get rid of Willwork as soon as you can, what they do reflects on you also.

Well I can see that Willwork has sent in the clowns ! It seems that they don't care what happens when past clients post complaints here after they didn't take precautions to prevent the problems that clients had in Southern California. If you don't mind using a company that employs an abuser, Thug, and drug addict, use Willwork . The only way to feel safe on the show floor is to not have these idiots on it! Hire Willwork if you like police investigations in your booth.

listen...not only does this guy shoot heroin and meth, he has raped several women right on the floor on the convention center.
In addition, there is growing evidence that he is a terrorist, probably from an Al Qaida sleeper cell in the southern Cal area.
Also, rumor has it that he has attacked/clubbed baby seals in the La Jolla vecinity...eating their flesh while still alive.
Although never arrested for it, a number of convenient store managers believe he could be behind a series of armed robberies, always taking cases of cough medicine and twinkies that he is obviously addicted to.
It was also rumored that he hangs around the gates of Disneyland offering nickel bags of smack to the pre-teen attendees., owns a chop shop for stolen vehicles, runs a counterfeit mexican peso operation and has the largest collect of child porn in the western hemisphere...

I see the P.R. dept of Willwork is in damage control mode. Waa Waa If companies don't spend money with you you don't have a job! The whiners that you refer to have a life. They are responsible for spending millions of dollars every year with install and dismantle companies. We have the responsibility for spending the company money with people that represent the company well. If the I&D company is full of thugs, liars, thief's, and abusers that image will not keep us in this business for long. Brenda 60 I forgot about the scene that Brad caused by screaming at his assistant Kim Douglas. I think that the people that were in the hall at the time were hoping that she would just deck him since she was much taller than him, but she took the abuse and walked away in tears.

If anybody deserves this it's Brad falkner. the idiot always seemed to be high.Wearing sunglasses indoors isn't a sign, na. He called me after a job was installed to ask why it took so long and when I told him it was because his lead frank didn;t do anything but shout orders at everyone all day when he wasn't on the phone talking to his buddys . He blew up cussing me out for badmouthing his freind calling me a liar. I told him to call the rest of the crew . He didn't call the rest of the guys. He called me a stupid nig and hung up. The coward and his buddy frank still give me dirty looks whenever they see me . I have a family to feed I'm not gonna risk nothing for those 2 wimps . I worked for him as a favor and that is how you pay back someone . I still don't have a problem working for anybody else. I don't know how who still works for you. Why don't you call my brothers in jail the same thing you called me . The next time you start a rumer that someone was high when they worked for you get your facts straight .the only peoples that was high was you and yourboy frank. Your gettin what you deserve.

This is the same abuser that I saw and heard cuss out and scream at what I believe was his secretary. This girl took more abuse in the ten minutes that it took until a union member came over and made him stop, than anyone I have ever seen. A few months later I ran into Willworks San Francisco manager and another employee, told them what I had seen and they both said Brad does that all the time. I was shocked to hear he was still employed by anyone let alone Willwork . This mouthy midget should never be in a position to supervise anyone . Now I read that he is doing time in jail, I'd like to see him try to abuse someone in there. I witnessed his abuse a few years ago and will never forget what I saw. This was the hot topic at breakfast this morning. I thought the problems I had with Brad were bad. The problems that I had with Willwork only occurred in Southern California along with unbelievable excuses. Like Bout time I also couldn't believe it when I overheard the supervisor Frank tell his crew to slow it down. As soon as I could change to another I&D company I did and the problems I had in Southern California are fixed. I am now a very happy Eagle I&D client. Willwork, physical violence and threats won't bring your customers back! You didn't even fire Brad immediately after he beat up on someone working for a competitor .Tradeshow exhibitors deserve better than Willwork.

I couldn't be happier than to see the truth come out on this drunk . He was the most unorganized manager I met over 20 years in the tradeshow business. He showed up late and drunk every time he was delivering items that were sent directly to him to deliver prior to show opening. He made working with Willwork impossible.He even had his friend tell the workers to" slow down so we get all the hours '' I had great experience with Willwork except in southern California. I couldn't believe that after beating up a competitor on the show floor he was not fired .I now use Nth degree and couldn't be happier.

This article should have been sent to Willwork years ago. Everyone knew of Brads drug problems, you couldn't understand what he was saying on the phone most of the time, He would call you up to work a job at a certain time and place and when you showed up he would deny he called you. This guy has screwed good workers out of hours and pay for hours worked because he was loaded most of the time. The only time he would return a phone call was when he was desperate for help. When he goes to jail maybe they will replace him with his arrogant and lazy friend. He won't last long when he is not being hand fed the work.Willwork must of known and didn't care

This might have something to do with him beating up on his wife. Maybe if someone had paid attention to the postihg he would not have beat up on a compettitor at the San Diego convention center two weeks later. I haven't worked for him in a few years but from what his employees say his pill and meth smoking got out of hand. Hard to believe Willwork didn't have a clue. Maybe he will get sober with the jail time he has coming up. I have known Brad for 15 years and I wish him the best of luck.
