I purchased a 5 year extended warranty on an atv from a dealer in AZ about 4 years ago. This warranty was explained to me as I could perform my own maintenance and add any aftermarket parts. I put an aftermarket air filter made by uni on the atv. 2 years later the atv's top end needed to be rebuilt. The warranty company covered the costs. I then put a k&n filter on the atv and now about 1 year later the top end needs to be rebuilt again. The warranty company is refusing to cover this. They say that the addition of an aftermarket filter contributed to the problem and not a defect. When I asked them why did they cover the first rebuild with an aftermarket filter installed as well they said "well i guess you got one over on us then." The adjuster Mark Reese was very rude. He actually asked me if "I read the english language." What a terrible thing to say. He was being very rude and even encouraged me to follow up with the BBB and the Attorney General's office stating he "is an independent adjuster for the warranty company and it wouldn't affect him" and "it's not going to do you any good. We've won 4 or 5 court cases just like this." I then spoke with Greg at the corporate office who wasn't any better to talk with. He had an excuse for everything. "It's a 4 year old bike." He says. I told him I bought a 5 year contract what does that matter. Fact is, this company is trying to get out of their commitment to fix my atv.

I'm dealing with this BS as we speak. I just told them to pro rate, refund and cancel the whole damn thing. You shouldn't have to jump through hoops to get them to honor what you paid for.

I purchased a kayo 200 from fox powersports in 2021 hardly ever rode it due to my career. Anyhow the banjo bolt broke, noticed it right away, parked the machine on the trail road into town bought oil and a plug. Rode it home just fine. Took it out riding around the yard and the motor locked up. Claims I ran engine without oil, bs the cam bearing gave way supposedly. When I purchased the extended warranty I was under the impression that the engine would be covered no matter what as long as I didn't create the problem. Without a speedometer or hr meter there's no way to determine how long the machine was ran. I'm thinking between 20 and 30 hrs. Not very customer friendly just looking to blame the faulty engine on me. My experience in life is every now and then you get a lemon, could have been weak bearing races or bad oil pump who knows. However I didn't cause the failure. Denied claim, refused to honor warranty. Personally I would not recommend this company for squat.

We purchased a 2019 Polaris North Star Ranger new. The dealer AZ suggested we get an extended warranty to compliment the 1 year Polaris factory warranty. The Polaris extended warranty was $1315, which is what we wanted because it was provided by Polaris. The dealer talked us out of buying the Polaris warranty and said we should get McGraw Western Service warranty for $1300. We listened to their advice and now relaize we threw 1300 dollars away. We had one claim after the Manufacture's warranty expired for an oil leak that cost us 351 to have fixed - Western denied the coverage.

What a total wasted of money buying their coverage even though the dealer recommended them. The dealer said it should be covered but could not get McGraw to pay for the repairs.

We should have stayed with our gut feeling and bought Polaris coverage.

I also have a contract with WSCC that I paid $1, 000 for on when I bought a new Wildcat 1000 ATV back in 2012. The power steering part broke while under warranty but they refused to fix it because they said there was 'water' in the part. This ATV was trail driven, it was not ran through any deep water. Funny how they claim there was 'water' in the power steering part but no 'water' in any of the engine parts. This company and warranty is a ripoff.

My 2012 Kawasaki Ninja 1000 with only 4000 miles on it, has lost 4th gear in transmission. Never used WSCC before. Any assistance before I contact them would be very helpful. Thanks

I have a contract with WSCC on my BMW motorcycle. I used it when the fuel level sensor gave up. Dealership called them, got approvel, fixed the problem, called them back and got a CC number to pay for 100 percent of the repair. My part was getting the bike to the dealer, drinking their coffee and visiting with folks, and riding my repaired bike home. Great service from them on my behalf. Aikens

I have a 2009 Yamaha R1 and the teeth on 3rd gear broke. I've talk to Greg at Western Service and the adjuster handling my case; they both seem to be on the up-and-up. I will update you with the status of this claim next week. Furthermore, the 2009 Yamaha R1 had a fix to the timing chain tensioner.

I've been dealing with these jackoffs as well, one cylinder head problem on a polaris rzr has now gone on for a couple of weeks, only because I'm not letting off! What people don't know is, extended warranty's have have seriouse mark-up's when sold to the customer and heavy monetary incentives for the dealers to sell them. My problem is an obviouse one, only Mark Reese has NO Mechanical background to make an educated decision. My customer has bought 7- policys from them, never used one of them, now has a crunbling/flaking/cracking problem with both intake valve seats and no one cares, also keep in mind the head has changed part #'s 3-times since the vehicles short production run, so even polaris knows they have a problem! Worth mentioning: this vehicle has had the air box updates completed by the dealer & still uses the oem air filter. My customer came in with a no-power problem, had 120-lbs on one cyl & 150-lbs on the other, he purchased is own oem polaris piston kits & cylinder assy new to freshen things up while the valve job was being done only to find out the head was junk! I asked the customer do you have an extended warranty? Why yes, he said, well lets call them, I told greg at western that the local tv stations do story's on problems that consumers run into on a daily basis ("3-On Your Side", "Call 12-for Action" etc.) and that this would be a good story for the Arizona Viewers. after all thats where some of the policy's are sold. what better exposure than that, Right? That seemed to wake greg up again and at this point continue communication, we'll see!
