I spent 3 hours on the telephone yesterday trying to fill a prescription for a patient. I was bounced back and forth between welldyne and optum rx, both saying that the other one filled the prescription. It was filled on 11/22/2020, without a prescription from the doctor and as of 12/3/2020 the patient still hasn't received her medication, nor can I get anyone to give me an override. I was hung-up on numerous times. I have already been on the phone over an hour today, still getting bounced between welldyne and optum. Then I was told that, even though it's the mail-orders fault that she hasn't received her medication, she is only allowed a 5 day emergency override per calendar year, per Tee at optum, who was rather rude (not to say that I wasn't rude to her because of the run around). What a horrible company to deal with. I feel truly bad for patients who have to deal with them.
