Webull Investors Beware

Update:
Webull’s supervisor got back to me. Told me that the $1600.00+ (at one point my options contracts that expired worthless because I could not sell them as Webull locked me out of account for a month, were up well over $2000.00) loss that my account suffered was my fault for failing to manage my risk and that Webull now considered my dispute closed. He claimed Webull was not responsible because I didn’t manage my risk?! I didn’t manage anything, well, except every other account of mine, Facebook, ETrade, Robinhood, Messenger, gmail, every account I had two factor verification protection on, those accounts I managed because I was able to verify my identity and regain access to ALL of them very quickly. As in less than 5 minutes. All but Webull who i pleaded with for a month. Webull took my ability to manage my risk, as well as reap the rewards of my investments, they took that from me in refusing me the ability to access my account, through their negligence. It had nothing to do with my risk management. I asked to speak to the supervisors supervisor and he hung up on me. Webull took and decimated my account, and there’s nothing I can do about it even though I have all emails, dates, etc. Webull ought to be ashamed.

I don’t care how many free stocks Webull has to offer in order to bribe people to refer customers to them, I could NEVER, NEVER EVER lie to someone and give my stamp of approval to Webull. NEVER.

I have a Webull cash account tied to my cell phone number. I also have a Webull margin account tied to my email. I recently switched my cell phone number and bought a new phone.

Days prior to switching cell numbers, I had used my cash account to purchase options contracts that expired about a month out.

When I switched phones, Webull’s security protocols kicked in the two factor verification) as I was signing in from a new device. My margin account was easy to verify as it was tied to my email address and I was able to fairly quickly access that account to manage my investments. My cash account, sent the verification code to a cellphone number I no longer had. I made dozens of inquires to Webull in which I explained the problem and also took all the steps asked of me from the responses I received back from Webull’s support staff, in verifying my identity. I sent them all my information, obtained when opening the account. (Photo of me holding my drivers license, date of birth, address, old phone number, email, new cell phone number, social security number etc.) Webull emailed me to say that everything was passed on to another department and I would hear back within a day or two. I thought even that was unacceptable, as I had already spent a week texting and messaging and emailing above information, as it was requested multiple times and I had requested multiple times to please get a move on it because I needed access to my money which I trade stocks and options and the contracts I already had out there.

Literals dozens of attempts were made contacting Webull, about pleading with them to gain access to my account as they had done nothing but would send me a response that they needed my new phone number, which I would send them, which I had already given them in my reply that they were responding to in which they asked me for my phone number. It was almost as if they were mocking me and someone there was amused with my predicament and having fun openly mocking me while intentionally denying me access to my account. Three weeks of this and I’m watching and trading still with my margin account, but the options i had purchased in my cash account moved upwards of over $1600.00. I was now pleading with Webull to let me access my account so I could sell the contracts I’d purchased that took my account from $150 up to over $1800.00. Webull did nothing. Finally a week later Webull messaged me that they needed my drivers license again and then let me into my account. Needless to say, my options were now worthless as they had expired and were not automatically exceed IWD because they were no longer in the money as they were for a couple days 4-5 days prior.

I have since sent Webull a dozen messages, and emails explaining what happened. Detailing the losses I sustained due to Webull’s negligence. Webull asked me again for my picture ID, which I sent, and they assured me it would be looked into.

But now Webull’s customer support team will not even acknowledge me or my claim. When I was finally “allowed” to access my account again, after almost an entire month of me hounding them for support, I was granted access after Webull requested I message them my new cell phone number once again. (after giving it to them a half a dozen times, along with everything else, nothing new, no new information they hadn’t already requested and received day 1 of my attempts to sign in from my new device.

My options contracts expired worthless, when I was begging Webull’s support team for help to verify my account so I could sell and capture $1600 in profit. (documented through multiple tickets and emails).

Now all emails and messages sent thru their platform are met with 100% silence. Webull refuses to even acknowledge the tickets, messages. No dialog. This company or someone, multiple people? within Webull’s customer service department failed miserably and I witnessed a complete breakdown. Possibly/likely intentional as well. Just as intentional as Webull now blatantly refusing to address complaint.

I will update if anything changes, but as of now I say INVESTORS BEWARE! No customer support. Webull is 100% responsible for my loss of over $1600.00 of which they’ve decided to now ignore altogether.
