We recently purchased a bulldog from this breeder. We purchased the puppy and paid 500.00 extra for full akc rights and paid to have the puppy shipped to us. The puppy arrived without akc papers and sick. Within ten days of having the puppy we spent over 500.00 on vet bills. He had infected inflamed paws, bald spot of his head, double ear infections, two skin infections, ear mites, yeast infection in ears also, and patches of hair coming out. After finding out the extent of his illness we asked to return the puppy and they refused. They also refused to pay for vet bills or to work with us in any way. Do not buy a puppy from them! They sell sick puppies!
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
We purchased from them and had to put our sweet boy down just shy of his 2nd bday. We had spent approx $11,000 in vet bills only to find out his spine had grown completely jacked up. He could not even walk the last week of his life.
I have to agree. Genetics is everything and they have failed. Their warranty lists and does not cover all the genetic flaws their stock contains in the gene pool. They consider it merely a breed trait. I'm here to say a real breeder goes over and beyond to eliminate these genes from their livestock. They don't keep breeding the same genes and calling them breed characteristics. I own two English Bulldogs from a caring professional breeder who selects clean genes and these dogs have never had a knife laid on them. My bulldog from WB English Bulldogs is up for at least three surgeries at 5 months. We're looking another $2500 on top of the purchase price. Do yourself a favor and don't buy from WB. Notice there is no customer ratings available on their sales site. I know why...zero stars for this bad breeder.
DO NOT buy from them. We have a male names Barley and the male dogs carry a gene that causes prolapsed urethra. It is genetic and a horrible experience for the puppies and super expensive. He is 11 months old and has had to have three surgeries on related to prolapsed urethra which is passed genetically through males. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE CARELESS IN THE HEALTH OF THEIR PUPPIES.
I purchased a sick puppy as well at eight weeks. She had an infected eye. After multiple vet visits, it was discovered that wb english botched her cherry eye surgery. They "forgot" to mention that she previously had eye surgery when we purchased her. Remember she is eight weeks old. Later, she needed a second eye surgery for cherry eye. Have I mention the giardia as well from poor living conditions? At 15months, she needed acl repair surgery. All of her issues were due to poor breeding amd livimg conditions. She is a $10, 000 bulldog before her second birthsay. Also, no way is she a pure breed bulldog. She is 4 inches taller and longer than a standard bulldog. When I called to reserve her, they said her parents would be onsite. They were no longer onsite when I arrived. Horrible breeders. Adopt a resuce.
