I've been scammed £575 by this company.
I spoke to David Atkins at [protected]@local-detective.co.uk.
I transferred £575 by bank transfer and was told to wait 7 days.
The phone number they provide [protected] just goes straight to answer phone. They will not reply to my emails or calls.
I left a review for them on Yell, they reported it saying there is nobody called David who works there. I have the emails as proof. I've also received emails from [protected]@local-detective.co.uk saying they are getting my information ready. Lies!
I've reported them to action fraud and three best voted.
Do not fall victim to these scammers

" Good morning Pamela
I've been asked to take ownership of arranging the final reporting to be delivered to you on your case matter.
I am aware that you have a deadline of next Monday. I can see already that the work is concluded and we are now in the process of arranging the reporting write-up for you.
I will revert further to you by the end of this week - I expect later PM today.

Despite the company's genuine attempt to obtain information related to this complaint, the customer didn't reply to their messages.
The company has provided sufficient documentation to prove they issued a refund to the customer. Therefore, the complaint is considered resolved.
I have been scammed by this company. I engaged them in September 2021 , no service or proper communication. In JDecember I was confirmed a refund would be made. ( I have this in writing on email) multiple calls , emails, chasing up and nothing. £600+ I paid and no service or refund. I am a single working mother with no other income but my own and engaged this service under exceptionally stressful circumstances. I cannot believe they can be allowed to continue operating like this.
I have paid 660 GBP and I have not heard from detective Robert Pearce. It is so unprofessional. It's been 4o days since I have been calling and emailing and no one responds. Their 24/7 support email and chat service also don't work. This seems to be a fraud to me. I felt in their trap. Our need is their greed.
Hi Vicky tang how did you get this resolved I have not received photos from a month ago and Robert Peace won’t answer my emails or calls I paid an extra £266 for a second lot of photos and am still waiting I have learning difficulties and he know s this and promised and said he under stood this as well all I wanted was a few pictures of an old favourite school teacher that means a lot to me and I get scammed for it, the first lot of photos were very bad because the teacher was stood behind his wife at the front door in the dark so I paid more for better photos and I have got scammed for it
Hello I encounter the same problem. I paid for the service which they said would be completed in about 7 days. As time went by, i didnt receive any news from them and sent them mails. They responded few days later saying the report were under final cross checks at srveral occasions and report wpuld be sent to me in 24 to 48 hrs. I waited 96 hrs but nothing came. And received a mail from Robert Peace with a bizarre message requesting to verify that final reporting has arrived to me and which i have received nothing. There was a senior detective called David Atwood who appeared at the beginning at high frequency to ensure i paid. But once i did, he appeared only to announce the report would be ready the following monday and then disappeared, never contacted me again. I ask for full refund and chased by mails. No reply till datw. This company is scam and not serious or professional as they claim. They are fake. Please dont fall into their traps. I will report them.
