Walmart MoneyCard (Greendot) review: Walmart moneycard

I had an unauthorized purchase in my Walmart Money card. I called and made a dispute and they investigated it and cancelled the card. They said they were going to reissue another card. Meanwhile they locked my account. I had to send proof of my identity through the id verification e-mail. I sent it and they did not contact me back. I called and called and they finally told me my account was locked and I had to spend the money on the card and I could not go and use a ATM. So I went and bought something for $20 and it was declined. I called them back and they said that it was permanently locked. That I had to contact the person who deposited the money on the card and have them request it back. I told them this is absolutely ridiculous because they locked and closed the card so they should have some other way of verifying and giving me my money back. This has been going on for a year. I trying of talking to rude Indian workers that I can’t understand and won’t listen to what I’m asking. I just want my $304.07 and the $5 fee they have been taking out back since they closed/locked my account. I will never do business with greendot or Walmart again. I will make sure everyone I know doesn’t use this service at all. I’m shouldn’t have to go to my employer and have them figure out how to request funds back that were sent over a year ago and corporate thief are making money off it holding it hostage. No matter how small the amount.
