Walgreens - They lost my called in prescription

I take a controlled schedule 2 drug, Prescriptions can only be given when you are present with the doctor. A few weeks ago, the Dr told me that because of covid-19 I don't have to pick up drug in person, he can call it in.

I thought he called all my meds in about a week later in mid May 2020

Got low on my adderal, schedule 2 drug and called the dr. this past saturday, and a few hours later got an email from Walgreens saying the script is being worked on. Came to Walgreens yesterday, Sunday May 24, 2020, the clerk told me there is nothing in the system. I told her I got an email, so it must have been put in. She just shrugged.

Did research, called another Walgreens, they told me that when taking an oral script over phone they make a paper copy of it that they must keep. So Clerk didn't want to look. I believe that someone put it in system, email went out but they thought that they were wrong to fill this drug from an oral order by dr. So they deleted it, but probably didnt realize email went out.

Did more research, got the President of Walgreens phone number, I'm pretty sure it's him, in Illinois and plan on calling today. His name is Philip Ashworth, and the headquarters are in deerfield Illinois.

So I went to familytreenow.com, put in the info, and a few of them popped up. So you sort of have to guess which one is his. The one with the fancey address is probably it. He is about 45, I do this all the time when a big company screws me, but with the email, I got Walgreens by the balls, i'll see them tommorrow. So if you do this with a company, google their investor relations, that is where you find the big shots.

If you do call him, act nice but firm, be a little pissed, chances are you will get what you want. I do it all the time.

I take klonopin. When counting my pills 10 fell into the drain.

My scipt calls for 90 pills, 30 days, 3 a day. My next script is ready in 5 days.

Since I recently lost the 10 pills, I only have one pill for each day.

I'm 67 and afraid I'll have a bad withdrawal.

I told this to the pharamist who told me I used my pills improperly.

The law states that in this situation, the pharamist may exercise his professional judgement in this case, and can be done without a doctor.

My pharmacist will not do it, she will look at the law, and 2 other walgreens will not do it.

By telling me I misused my pills is a personal judgement, not professional judgement. So in her "professional judgement" instead of choosing to give me 10 and everything will be fine, she choose to subject me to an unknown 5 day course of withdrawal.

Keep away from Jennifer E. if you value your life. Walgreens at hampton rd, Henderson NV
