Volsec Security review: provident fund payout

I started working at Volsec Security on 24 August 2016 and joined the ABSA Private Security Provident Fund on the same day. I resigned from Volsec on 5 October 2015 and then went to the offices of the Provident Fund to claim the money I had paid into the fund. Upon my arrival, I was told that there have been no such payments received from me or my employer on my behalf, they could not pick up my details or those of my employer. I then contacted the Roodepoort offices and upon my arrival, the gentleman who assisted me took my contact details as well as the company details and advised that they would contact me as the person authorised was not present. What followed were many calls by me and being passed from pillar to post, with no assistance.
