While in Aruba Jan 28 to Feb 4th 2023. We were approached on a great offer for a members only vacation club, by a young man/teenager and he his estatic. "you won the major prize, there are only 10 of these scratch prizes and will also get $100.00"

Attend a seminar, win a prize, and see what we have to offer.
1 hr presentation with 5 other couples, seems legit, presentation made sense.
They displayed the price upfront $9900.00, plus a one time fee $589.00 and annual fee of $249.00. Sign today and we will waive the 589.00 and 249.00 and offer you 3 additional family members to use your membership.

Marco Veth was our presentor.
Your the 1st couple to sign $1000.00 off in lieu of the prize.
Everything is in US dollars, we are Cdn another $1250.00 off
Another 750.00 off for something, could have been because I served in the military
Another $800.00 off, dont remember. Head is spinning with everyones excitement.
Our friends that with us won a a prize, they took another $1000.00 off.
Friends and my wife are stating this is a good deal.
The rep stated you add them as a member to get the discount with our membership.
Total cost now $5100.00.
We will send you an email with your membership all the paperwork. Here is a coupon for $50.00 off from one of our member restaurants. YOLO Rain Forest Restaurant.
The rep (Marco Veth) gave us his phone # and address to stop by.
During dinner, I recognized the server as a rep from the presentation. Asked some questions, he stated I do this job on a call basis. Right out in front of the YOLO Rain Forest Restaurant, we here an excited young person, making the same presentation we had the day before. You won a prize and for you winning I get $100.00.
No email arrives that evening.
Called Credit Card company and submitted a dispute. Dispute cannot start until it goes out of pending stage.
Searched on line about the company. There are 2 of them on the island.

We are with.org. Many scam alerts, fraud etc. Sent a text to Marco, no return messages or phone call.
Called the number on the bisness card, set up an appt for the next day for 30th of Jan.
They (Marco) offered another 1500.00 off and come back Friday with your Credit Card. I stated we will seek some legal advice before responding. Called our bank and pursued a dispute. $5100.00 was put on hold.
We declined the the offer via email.
Met with another business operator, whom we rented a Jeep form earlier in the week. Asked him about the address given, he did not recognize it. He asked what we were looking for and I told him about the Vacation Club. His simple response was "it is a scam". They also own YOLO Rain Forest Restaurant.
Went to address given, it was a school.
Upset, ticked off to be scammed is very stressfull, why did I allow this happen. Do not want to ramble on.
If more information is required, please let us know.

Desired outcome: 100% refund, inform Aruba of scam, help shut them down.

So far I have been able to match every price they have qouted on their web page. Or be within a few dollars.

We fell victim to these scam artists back in 8/22. Our signup fee was $6500. After finding out that they offered no better deal than our timeshare, we went back to their office within 72 hours to cancel the contract. They would not comply as they stated we activated the service by accepting the free lunch they offered us at YOLO Rainforest.

Filed a fraud complaint with my credit card once we got back in the states. The charge was reversed and the case was closed.

We still receive annu

Save yourself the trouble and don't mess with these guys. They'll try to hard sell you anyway they can.

We still receive annual renewals for $249, but throw them in the trash.

Also wanted to mention they offered assistance with cancelling our timeshare. Nobody ever called us.

Rich, did your CC company use the word fraud in your dispute? We were told by our CC company that because we handed them the card we couldn't use the fraud method and instead its a regular dispute they are investigating which can take up to 90 days to resolve. I think it is fraud since they refused to accept our cancellation in the 3 day period but the CC company says that is a dispute not fraud. Any help here is much appreciated so far we haven't been charged and hoping to avoid being charged.

Stay away from this SCAM! We have been working with them for over 2 years now to try to 1. get our timeshare transferred, and 2. get our money back (since the contract stated very clearly that we would get a refund if the timeshare was not transferred within a year...it is a nightmare trying to get any type of response from John and he is now saying that the corporation's "Board" is denying our refund. Then, when we asked for the "Boards" contact information, he just keeps telling us that his office manager Jennifer will send it over...which is a bunch of BS. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!

Do NOT do business with this group! We had a similar experience as others today. Our credit card company canceled our card after they deemed this company fraudulent. We started reading reviews and doing our own research and we agree, they do not seem legit.

We went back in to cancel, and they would not allow us to because they said we "activated" our account by accepting a free lunch given to us by them. Marco came in and tried to offer us a discount for 3000 dollars to stay with the group. This even further proves my point. He then refused to give me anyone else's name or number to contact above him. If this doesn't seem fraudulent, I'm not sure what does. Will someone please share if they find a solution.

Another problem person - the same as you described below with a few differences but basically the same. Were you able to cancel the credit card and get out of the service? Get your payment back? Please let me know

We fell for the same $#!+ last week. Have you had any resolve? If so, how? I am steaming right now.
