We purchased Vinay switches worth thousands of rupees for our new home about a year ago. Everything was fine, but the moment the warranty period was over, which is one years, things started going wrong. Several switches stopped functioning, followed by fan regulators. In the most recent case, a fan regulator conked off. We approached the dealer who refused to replace the defective piece and we were forced to buy a new one. This is outrageous. It's only one year and four months since we purchased the old regulator. I wrote to the company which, incidentally, does not have a customer care department! They majestically told me to settle the matter with the dealer. Can you believe this? I opted for Vinay believing that their products were better and their after-sale service was prompt. And see what happened. Our advice to all is to avoid buying Vinay products and opt for more well-established and reputed companies
The complaint has been investigated and resolved to the customer’s satisfaction.
Worst ever product I have come across. I was in a flat in Hadapsar where all the accessories were of Anchor. I never ever had a problem for more than 15 years. In the flat where I am staying since 2004 the builder have used the modules and switches of Vinay. I face some or the other problem almost every year with the products of Vinay. Their switches do not work for a few years. The cost of their product is too much as compared to their quality. Only as the other switches do not fit into their modules we are forced to use their switches.
I am also an aggrieved party... Many of my switches and regulators of the same company too went bust within two years.
