My Xbox 360 had the red ring of death but I read on their website that they could repair it. The site said the diagnostic was free. I dropped it off at the drop off window. I then received from them that it was not repairable and they tried to sell me an Xbox 360 slim with no hard drive for $150.00, which is more than double what it's worth, plus the trade in of my unit. I declined this, as it seemed clear that it was a scam. They also said they would charge $30 for "reassembly and return" of the unit. Because the diagnostic was supposed to be at no cost, and they did not repair the item, I thought the $30 was to ship the unit to me. However, they're saying they will now schedule a pickup.
Desired outcome: My 30 refund and my Xbox.
