I was worried about the guards affecting the look of my house, but they blend in nicely and are hardly noticeable. We got Valor gutter guards installed and boy, were we excited! But then, the next week it rained cats and dogs and our basement was flooded. We were so disappointed! We contacted the installer and he told us that we couldn't judge from a rain that happens every 10 years! But come on, we were expecting the guards to handle 40 inches per hour, as they claim. Unfortunately, they didn't live up to their promise. The mesh is so fine that nothing gets in, but debris sticks on top of it. It's like they're not doing their job properly. We were really hoping for better results, but it seems like we'll have to keep looking for a better solution.

I gotta say, I'm pretty impressed with Valor Gutter Guards. I've had 'em on my house for over a year now, and they've been workin' like a charm. I mean, I ain't gotta worry about no leaves or debris cloggin' up my gutters no more. And let me tell ya, I used to have a real problem with that. But ever since I got Valor, it's been smooth sailin'.

Now, I saw some negative review on here, and I gotta call BS on that. That picture ain't even of the Valor Gutter Guard. It's obviously some competitor tryin' to bring Valor down. But let me tell ya, Valor is rated #1 in every category for a reason. It's been around since 2015, and it's been kickin' butt ever since.

I did my own research before I bought it, and I found this website called Gutterprotectionreview.org. They test and review all the major gutter guards on the market, and Valor came out on top. So, I knew I was makin' the right choice.

And let me tell ya, I ain't had no problems with it. It's easy to install, and it's made of high-quality materials. Plus, it looks pretty darn good on my house, if I do say so myself.

So, if you're lookin' for a gutter guard that actually works, I highly recommend Valor. Don't listen to them haters out there tryin' to bring it down. It's the real deal.

I gotta say, I was pretty excited when my local gutter installer recommended the Valor Gutter Guards from Artesian Home Products. I mean, who doesn't want to avoid climbing up on a ladder to clean out their gutters? But man, was I wrong. These guards were twice the price of the other product he offered, but he convinced me it was worth it. Boy, was that a mistake.

I used to clean out my gutters once a year, but this spring I had to clean off those guards 8-10 times. They kept getting clogged with debris, and water was forced down between my house and the gutter. That's gonna lead to some serious damage to my soffit and siding. And to top it off, the backed-up water soaked my deck for days. Not cool.

So I went to the company to complain, and they called me a liar! Can you believe that? They said the big stain in the pictures I sent was "just drips." And get this, they told me it was completely normal to have to clean off the guards. What a load of baloney. The employee who called me a liar even sent me a picture of a brush on an extension pole and told me to use a ladder to reach the guards. Um, hello? Most of my gutters are 24 feet up!

Now instead of an annual clean, I have to clean them off in sections a couple times a week in the spring when all those southern leaves fall. And get this, the company told me that the gutters were taking some water away from the house, and that's all they warranty. If it takes some water, the garbage 10-year warranty is null and void. What kind of warranty is that?

So now I'm out the price of new gutters, plus the ones they took off to accommodate this horrible product. And if I want working guards from another company, I'll have to start from scratch. Unless you only have straight sections of gutters and no corners and no trees near your house, DO NOT USE THIS PRODUCT!

I'm a gutter installer with over 20 years of experience, and I've installed countless styles and varieties of leaf guard and gutter guard. But out of everything I've ever used, Valor Gutter Guard takes the cake for being the #1 all-time best on the market as of today in 2022.

I've installed it on my house, my girlfriend's rental properties, my father-in-law's house, and my mother's house. It's honestly the first and only guard on the market that works on all aspects.

Firstly, it's a closed-loop system, which means there are no openings in the front, sides, or back. This is different from other high-end systems like Leaf Guard or Gutter Helmet. Along with debris, I've seen birds and bees enter Leaf Guard or Gutter Helmet. With Valor, NOTHING gets in but water.

Secondly, there are other micromesh guards on the market, but Valor is better than them all for several reasons. Most micromesh systems have trouble with moss and algae growth when in shade. However, Valor's team of engineers put zinc into the frame, which makes it moss/algae resistant. I've never witnessed any moss or algae on Valor, but on other micromeshes like Leaf Filter, moss is 100% an issue.

Thirdly, other micromesh systems are flat screened, but Valor has a raised S-curve design on its frame. This is a patented design that slows water down and can handle extremely heavy rains. The raised S-curve also keeps debris elevated off the screen, which helps to prevent debris from sticking and allows it to self-clean.

Fourthly, the frame on Valor is strong, far stronger than ANY other system I've ever come across.

Lastly, some houses (depending on roof style and insulation quality) have trouble with ice dams. Micromesh gutter guards can make ice dams worse. But Valor once again came up with a solution! Valor has an optional add-on called Melt Away. This allows the whole gutter guard to heat up and melt away ice dams and snow.
