I came into donate last week and I couldn't because of my iron low. I received a phone call later that night from a staff member that accused me of having my nose pierced she noticed it was red and she was very rude. She proceeded to tell me that I had five days to produce a photo with a stamped date on it otherwise I would be deferred for ever, I feel that is pretty harsh. So I printed a photo and drop it off within the five days. First of all they never got back to me, so I called and I talked with emily and she told me I was deferred because my photo didn't get there with in the time frame, then she proceeded to tell me they misplaced it but found it and now I need to bring in my facebook and show them a photo from there, which I feel my facebook is none of their business. And if I couldn't do that then I would no longer be able to donate. I feel you need to check in with the staff at this location and how they are trained because I was told different things I feel it should be all the same. Also, the staff here share patient information with other patients, which is not legal and all staff should be trained and understand the hippa law, which is not being practiced at this location. The only reason I did donate is a have a friend that her daughter has leukemia, and I would like to keep donating but I feel like the staff at this location has it out for me. I like how you guys are always looking for people to donate but yet you accuse people of things and turn them away this isn't the first time I heard this happing at this location.
