I moved from Franklin TN to Knoxville TN on 31st August 2020 and provided every detailed information to Comcast. I was working from home, so I needed internet badly at home. Comcast didn't move my services for three months and I had to switch to other service provider. They didn't picked up the call, the local office failed to assist me to move the services. Their modem was sitting at home without any internet connection and I even paid for that. So, eventually I had to deactivate the services because Comcast failed to provide connectivity to my house. After three months from August 31st, they finally connected the cables to my house and asked me to pay $100 fee for early termination. They have involved third party into collecting the debt. When I recently went to the office they blatantly lied to me that the services were transferred immediately. It's not my fault that I had to cancel the services, it's their fault for the early termination. They didn't took any responsibility to move my services from Franklin to Knoxville.
Desired outcome: The early termination fee should be removed
Called them and told them the charges were wrong.
