While working at the BioLife facility in Cordova TN. I experienced racism on a daily basic. We traveled to Texas to opening a new center in Cordova. When we arrived back to Cordova Tennessee. The black people were overlooked on lead and management positions. They gave positions to people with no experience. We had to train people who had been a the job for a month or so. The racisms was so intense, I hated coming to work.

I asked Alexis if she would change her gloves during my donation because she had iodine on them. She then got upset and said, "We don't change gloves after set up." Immediately after saying this, she snatches off her gloves and says "Fine!" My only concern was that she could potentially pass along germs to me from the previous person. Gloves should be changed and hands should be washed between patient contact or when gloves are visibly soiled or dirty (which they were).
