They add prices for dentures at a set rate, dependent on the quality of the materials used to manufacture them. When I visited today and completed the paperwork, I was called into an exam room and again stated the purpose of my visit. I told them the price I wanted to pay as per the advertisement. They then told me I had to have a full x-ray made at an additional cost of $70.00 in addition to the cost of the denture. When I inquired as to why I needed an x-ray for a denture replacement, I was advised that they could not complete my transaction without one. I refused to pay the $70.00 and was advised that they would not provide any service. I told them I did not have dental insurance they could "rip off" for the $70.00, but it was to no avail. I then left their establishment and went to a more reliable and honest facility where the denture was manufactured to my specs without any x-ray costs. Don't use Affordables unless you are willing to spend more money than they advertise. Visit was 6 November 2015 and I was the first customer there.
