9/13/2021 GE Dryer service call. Chad repairman, Customer Debra Ethridge, Confirmation # [protected]

Important information about your service appointment GE policy:
"In the evening before your scheduled repair appointment, GE Appliances will call at your primary phone number to confirm your appointment.
On the day of your appointment, you will also receive a call from a GE Appliances service technician to confirm the appointment details and verify that someone over 18 is at the appliance location. If the technician cannot reach you at your primary phone number, the alternate phone number (if applicable) will be used."
The tech, Chad, never called. I know because he gave me his number at original service call 7/26. Parts were ordered and shipped 8/5 arrived 8/7 and in my garage since. Called Chad and GE that day, and GE scheduled service call for 9/13. I was here all day except when I went to doctor 3:15-3:45. Chad never called I would have answered even if at doctor, I have Chad as a contact. But only number that called was [protected] and when I called that number, I was on hold for 2 1/2 hrs and when they answered they hung up on me. I called back, they were rude and said I'd have to wait another month till 10/11. Seriously? Totally unacceptable customer service. GE bumped me out a month after I have the parts in my garage and now GE wants to bump me out another month because tech didn't make his call the night before, the morning of, or when he was on the way over. Bump someone else and get my GE dryer fixed! The GE system is designed to screw the customer.
