I received a credit report alert on 1/20/2021 and it states that you reduced my credit limit in half. What is this all about? This affects my credit rating. I would like my credit card cancelled and my rating back to where it was. I have never been late on a payment etc. that you should do this to me. I never received a notice from you stating you were going to do this. I am going to go to the better business bureau if this is not resolved in a timely manner.
Desired outcome: My card cancelled and credit rating back to where it was.
Macy's - Credit card dispute
Three months of trying to get a merchant to issue a credit for prepaid services. Nothing but incompetence and mismanagement of my claim. Finally got the attention of Angela Branham at the executive offices claiming she was going to look into it.
Received a letter that a partial refund was issued - not the amount I had documentation for. Apparently they think this is good enough of a resolution. How does the vendor that scammed me get to decide what she is going to refund? I requested a breakdown of how the liar came up with the amount. No response from Angela.
I guess I shouldn't be surprised - consistent with the customer service I've received so far. I will be submitting a claim with the BBB. They don't care about customers or the frustration they caused. Can't get a response - never even received an apology for the errors. You just lost a loyal customer. I'm closing ever card for every store associated with the Macy's family.
Macy's - Card stolen, credit history spoilt and no action taken by macy's even after 8 months!!!
This is the worst case of harassment by Macy's. I applied for a Macy's store card. The card was mailed to my home address and before the card reached me, it was stolen and someone made fraudulent purchases worth hundreds of dollars on my account. That was just the beginning of the problem. I have been following up with Macy's for the last 8 months and they have not taken any corrective action. Every time I call the customer service, I spend 30min-1hr on hold only to hear their standard reply that the case is pending investigation and will take 60-90 days to resolve. Meanwhile Macy's has reported the transactions to Credit bureau and my credit history is ruined. I don't know how to get this resolved.
