Ruth's Chris Steak House - Customer service

We have been loyal customers to the Ruth's Chris for over 10 years at the 670 White Plains Road, Tarrytown, NY location and were "surprised" about our recent poor experience! On 8/9/21, my family had dinner for my wife's birthday. We spoke to the Manager regarding an upcoming Stag's Leap wine tasting dinner to be held on 9/2/21. He have us the menu & told is we can book a reservation after dinner. When we were leaving, we were told that he left, but the young lady took my wife's number and assured us that he would call to book the reservation as she couldn't do it. I was a little concerned as she seemed confused and unsure so I made sure to let her know that it was very important that he call back asap as we know that these event book up quickly & she again assured us that he would call.

One week later, my wife never received a call so she called on 8//17/21 & spoke to someone who of course couldn't find my wife's phone number. She then told us that the event was sold out. My wife asked that a Manager call back as she wanted to make a complaint about what happened and to see if this matter can be rectified. The person on the phone also lacked customer service skills and appeared unsure of how to handle this matter. In fact, when my wife asked if she could provide a tentative timeframe when she would receive a call, she replied " I am not too sure' Given the fact that there was an issue that was due to Ruth's Chris, you would think there would be sense of urgency or empathy? This is not Applebee's or TGIF, so we would expect excellent customer service. Anyway, its now 8/18/21 and guess what? Still no call! Its as a shame that we will no longer be going to this location after being loyal customers for so long! Thank goodness that Benjamin's Steakhouse is close to our house!

Desired outcome: A call back would be nice before the end of the year
