On 2/31/23 at 9pm I tried to purchase a rug that was clearly marked as clearance for 199. The manager Kate I believe her name was would not sell it to me and stated it was marked incorrectly! In my opinion this is a case of false advertisement and the marked price of the rug should’ve been honored! I feel like it was late in evening and they were to lazy to get rug down and sell it!
Desired outcome: I went to next door and purchased the same rug at a non discounted rate. I feel I should be given discount due to false advertising .
Marshalls - Not enforcing social distancing
On Sunday, June 28, 2020 at 12:25 I visited the Marshall's/HomeGoods store on Old Country Road in Riverhead, NY. This was my first visit since the store reopened from the COVID shutdown. While customers were social distancing while shopping the line to get up to the registers was a nightmare. I observed no one on the line keeping a six foot social distance even though there were lines on the floor. No Marshall's/Home Goods employees were asking people to spread out to maintain distance and safety. I put down the items I was going to purchase and left the store. I have filed a complain with New York State.
