This incident occurred Thursday 1/18/24 at 4:18PM. Whenever I enter the store, the manager or an employee makes an announcement for security to venture to my location and they also call the NYPD. This can be heard on the intercom as they make an announcement. It has happened multiple times at this location, and the the responsible employees can easily be determined. It is a female manager and two female employees. Goodwill Industries should be able to explain in writing (or email) why they have instituted this policy, which seems strange as I have no criminal record and have never had any personal interaction with these individuals other than purchasing items in this store.
