Purchased a used 2015 Thor Freedom Elite class C motorhome in April of 2017. Motorhome was like new and had approximately 16000 miles. I purchased a full extended warranty at a cost of approximately $6000.
Took in for a slide out issue on May 4th. After several calls to find out about the repair, I was notified today (May 29th) to inform me the repair (estimated over $17, 000) was denied.
I have contacted the dealer and requested answers as to why the claim was denied, and was told it was because of water damage to the wood underneath the slide out mechanism. I have used this about 20 times for camping in my two years of ownership. It has been stored for 1 year in a temperature controlled underground facility.
I feel I have been ripped off and want some better answers.
