Gutter Helmet

After having gutter helmet out our home for over 30 years, when our condo installed new roofs and gutters we order them for our condo. This was in August of 2016. Three months ago we had a leak in our front bedroom wall. I called Gutter helmet and the roofer. I was told that the Gutter Helmet office that I used had new owners since my purchase and they weren't responsible. I asked for a service person to come and look at it since they were still a Gutter Helmet company. My guarantee was with the company, not the owner. Mike (from NJ) came out and said that the section over my front bedroom should not have be sold or installed as the side gutter did not have gutter helmet and the front gutter was clogging because of it. He said it didn't cause the leak. The roofer discovered that the nails use to install the helmet went through the shingles into the plywood and that they did not have silicone over them to seal the holes. They put silicone over the nails and the leak has stopped.
