On 9/11/2023, my daughter felt a pop in her foot at work. We rushed her to Urgent Care, as requested by foot doctor who cannot see her until November!
She was denied service, called a "Workers' comp case" (Directly stated by the rude receptionist, as in there goes a Workers' Comp Case while laughing at her) in front of other patients. We had to wait two hours to be seen by her Primary care provider, who asked why Urgent Care turned her away! (At least they were caring, compassionate, and concerned!) (Thankfully she had a witness! Her father was with her that day!)
I have requested to talk to a supervisor twice, they have refused to tell me who it is! We have reported them through the Department of Health, as well as to the company itself!
They have stated while laughing at me as well, that they have the right to refuse any patient they want and how "busy" they were! I have included pics of how busy they really were!
Well, the x-ray states she has a fracture, so great call on their part!
Preconception of any person is against the code of anyone working in a "medical office/facility!" Shame on them!
Desired outcome: She would like an in-person apology, and these ladies reprimanded for the discrimination and humiliation she received! Do better while dealing with sick/injured people in the future!
