La-Z-Boy - chair is unsatisfactory
We ordered 2 recliners. Traded in our old ones that were very comfortable but the fabric was worn.
When we received our chairs and tried them out they were nothing like the one in the store. These are very cheaply made, something hard in the seat and we are not big people but you can feel it when you push on the cushion with your hand. Sitting on it is not normal it's like sitting on wood. The store refuses to do anything about it. However when we bought them they said "satisfaction guaranteed"
Yeah, right. So, over $1, 700 for 2 chairs and they aren't worth $25.00

We purchased a couch with two recliners. Custom ordered! $3500 and very cheaply made. Never again. Not like they used to be... Nails protruding from the back...
Yes I bought a recliner also. Was expensive even though it was a "big sale". It to felt nothing like the display in the store. The one in the store was so comfy. The one we received is very hard. I thought maybe it would break in. A year later it is so bad I don't even sit in it. Money down the drain, I am getting a new one, but not Lazy Boy!
From what it sounds like papafred, you were the one that messed up the chairs when you tried to install them.
I MUST AGREE ON THE LAZY BOY RECLINERS, BACK ON AUG/11/97 WE GOT THE QUEEN ANN LAZY BOY RECLINERS WITH A REAL NICE FOREST GREEN PATERN UPUPHOLSTERY. I WANTED THE BIG BOY RECLINER BUT THE MRS SAID NO SO QUEEN ANN STYLE IT WAS. WHILE PUTTING THE BACKS ON THE RECLINERS THE METAL BRACKETTS TORE THE FABRIC ON THE INSIDE OF THE ARMS AFTER HAGGLING WITH THE LAZY BOY STORE, WHICH WAS NAMED RIGHT BECAUSE THOSE TO FAT BOYS WERE LAZY AS H%&#. WE FAUGHT AND FAUGHT AND FINALLY GOT THE ARM FIXED AND I HAD TO DO ALL THE LABOR BKZ THEIR MR FIXIT MAN. THESE CHAIRS WERE CRAP, THE WORKS UNDERNEATH WERE A JOKE, BENDING, ENDS BREAKING, AND GETTING REPLACEMENT PARTS WAS A NOTHER BATTLE. I HAD TO DRIVE FROM NORTH NASHVILLE OUT TO LAVERN TN ABOUT 30+ MILES. WHEN YOU GET THERE YOU ARE IT IS A NOTHER HASSLE, THERE IS NO COMUNICATION AT ALL. I FINALLY GOT THEM FIXED AFTER FIGHTING ALL OF THEIR CRAP, ONE NEEDED EVERY KIND OF I.D. AND PROFF OF PURCHASE. THEY WILL GIVE THE REPLACEMENT PARTS BUT YOU ARE SUPPUSED TO PAY THEM SOMETHING $30 OR $40. AN HOUR TO INSTALL THE PARTS. WELL I AM RID OF THEM NOW BUT LAZY BOY IS CHEAPLY MADE AND CHEAPLY, CHEAPLY. I WILL NEVER HAVE A NOTHER PEACE OF LAZY BOY FURNITURE
Are you sure you just don't need to break the chair in? I know older chairs that they use for floor models are always more comfortable because they are sat in often.
