Meineke Car Care Center

I went to meineke # 4075 on 5/3/22 for an oil change. The manager recommended that my valve cover seal be replaced along with the oil change. I went ahead and got the valve cover seal replaced per manager recommendation. After the car was done it was approximately 2 hours and the vehicle started to sputter like a cylinder was mis-firing. I would like to also add that I have had this vehicle since 2012 and have never had any issues like this. I took the car back the very next day and I was told that it was nothing that they did that would cause it but it only happened after the valve cover replacement. The manager then tried to get me to spend more money to chase the problem by buying a $200 fuel injector. I declined the fuel injector replacement because I don’t feel that I should have to pay to fix a problem caused by this meineke location.

Our old air conditioner blew out hot air and we decided to change it. We bought new one from Meineke Car Centre and the company provided the life time warranty. I was shocked, when the air conditioner started to blew hot air again. It was strange and the company refused to repair it for free. The agent told me that the warranty wouldn’t cover the repair. I didn’t get why I need this warranty then.
