My 86 year old mother bought an AC cover on sale. It was recommended by two employees to fit her dimensions. They had square and round model covers. She got the round and it would not fit. I returned it for her to exchange for the square model and they would not exchange it without paying the difference as it was no longer on sale. Very petty as they were the same price. I placed an order on 4/28 for siding, soffit, insulation, trim, lumber, door. I was put off until 5/21 telling me that it's 'better' siding and they don't carry it in stock and special ordered. Now being told order just shipped from mi last night to a center 4 hours away from where I need to pick up. Now getting email that if materials are not picked up by next week, it will be shipped back. What? And now, being told I might not be able to get the stuff they put on a pick list when order is picked up as they are short and might be another 2 weeks. I spent almost $4000 on 4/28 and they got their money and still waiting. I am so disgusted and will never, ever order from menards again. Best scenario at this point and have all items together for pickup while I wait for siding.
