I have structural defect in the roof built by Beazer homes that caused a massive leak in my garage area every time it rains. I have submitted pictures of the damage and an inspection by a roofing company "Baker roofing several times by e-mail. My e-mails do go through & don't get returned to me. I submitted pictures several times from my personal e-mail & my work e-mails yet Beazer continuously claims they didn't receive them. I can receive e-mails from Beazer so there is nothing blocking e-mail receipt on my end but there is something blocking my e-mails with picture attachments on beazer e-mail server & it's very frustrating. My guess is their outlook is set to send all e-mails received from me to either spam or trashed or getting blockedon their end thus Beazer acts like they're trying to help while they're stalling until a home owner gives up. I am going to take the case to court if Beazer continues to try to ignore me. The roof is an integral part of the structure which Beazer provides 10 years warranty on. The law in NC states that builder defects are the responsibility of builder for up to 6 years. Bought the house towards end of Aug 2016 so I have time left. Beazer refuses to acknollwedge responsibility for the poor construction/workmanship on the house roof. I tried to involove my home owner warranty compnay, they determined after 2 roofing inspections that materials used and/or poor construction practices"rushing through construction "to get a new owner in the house w/o any regards to integrity of the work performed.
Desired outcome: It's going to cost me at least $1800 to make repairs in the roof & i'd like Beazer to step up & act responsibly like it should be instead oof skirting the responsibility part
So far Beazer homes hasn't made any efforts to rectify situation
