Lowe's

*Charged me for permits that they never applied for.

*I found an empty bottle of liquor and solo cups in my garage trash from the installers.

*The installers were installing a microwave and I had put a towel on the new glasstop stove so that they didnt put their tools on it. They leaned up against the knobs. Turned on the glasstop. Went into the garage as the towel was smoking and almost starting a fire. It would have if I hadn't realized what was going on and quickly threw the towel outside.

*They improperly designed the kitchen. I had to put in a lazy susan so that I could actually utilize the corner cabinet. They should know that it is impossible to really reach into the depths of a corner cabinet without a lazy susan. Also they didn't realize they needed to allow for a large cabinet opening for large pots and pans. I had to make several changes to incorporate and utilize wasted space that I could actually use for cookie sheets/cutting boards, etc. I'm glad I did.

*I told them that where they assigned my refridgerator it would hit the molding and not allow my fridge door open all the way. They insisted it would be fine. It was not fine. My molding is dented and we had to pull out the fridge from the wall to avoid the molding.

* They failed to install spacers on the cabinets and when the cabinet doors opened they hit the knobs of the cabinets next to them and the knobs chipped the paint on the cabinet doors.

* The cabinet quality is horrible. Even though it was sooooo expensive. My old cabinets were in great shape...over 14 years old... just out of style. These cabinets from Lowes are only three years old and the paint is chipping, as well as, the wood on the corners are wearing and chipping. The paper coating on the molding is all peeling.

* When the installers hung the cabinets they must not have measured where the studs were and in some of the cabinets they drilled holes in the wrong spots in the wall and it looks terrible to open my cabinets and see that.
