The Salvation Army USA - emergency assistance

On December 30, 2019 between 10:00am and 10:30am, I was denied financial assistance because the the person who handles the grant distribution knows me personally and I worked with her mom and her aunt in the past. I went in the facility to get an appointment for emergency assistance. The receptionist went in the back to get a folder and came back and asked what County do I live in. I said Wicomico County she said we don't have funding for Wicomico County. I said I know LaToya told you to tell me that because she has personal issues with me. LaToya came out of the office and asked me what I said. I said you have to learn to put your personal issues to the side when it comes to your job; you are supposed to be professional. She said well we don't have money for housing all I got in was 17, 000 for all the counties and all of that is gone. She said I got in 1 million dollars for Demarva Power to issue to the counties and you are not going to come into my office and tell me what i have. I said I have a Delmarva Power disconnect. She said we don't have to help you. I said can I speak to your boss. She sai I'm going to call him and prove to you we don't have to help you. She picked up the phone and said Bob can you come over here for a minute. I saw him coming and walked out to meet him. I was explaining to him what happened and LaToya came out and he told her to get back into the building. She kept coming out and he kept telling her to go back. She called her relative on the phone and told Bob to come to the phone so she can prove to him while its personal. Bob told her to get back in the building and he told me we don't have money evrybody always think we have money. I told him that the women who went in before me were given appointments and it's not fair she won't give me one because she knows me personally. I said I know there is money. I left he went in with LaToya. I drove around the block and waited for him to go back to the administration building so I could go and talk to him without LaToya interrupting; but when I went to park I saw her walk into his building. I went home and waited for a while then called him but I could tell she was still in his office. So when I tried to talk he kept screaming we don't have a million dollars even though that's not what I was saying. I said can I please speak to your boss. He said he is not here. I said okay I will come to talk to him and explain my situation because you are not trying to hear me. He said you are not going to be able to come back here if you do we are calling the police because you came here kicking around chairs. I said you are not telling the truth I never kicked a chair I stood outside and talked to you. I hung up and called the captains and left them voice messages explaining to the what happened and I asked them if they had camera footage to watch it so that they could see that LaToya kept coming outside where I was and they were fabricating a story against me. My biggest concern is that I had been going to that facility for years with no problems and no complaints until LaToya started working there a few years ago. She didn't allow my grandchildren to get toys from there last year because I told her I wasn't receiving food stamps. She met me at my car and didn't give me a chance to go in. She used to purchase food stamps from her clients when she worked at Shore-Up. If you check my records you will see I received Christmas assistance years in a row until she started there a few years ago. I avoided her this year and signed up with someone else when I didn't see her around. Before I got out my car for the assistance on Monday 30th I called my daughter and said I don't know if I should go in because LaToya's car is here. I decided to go in anyway hoping things would go well but it turned out just like I thought. My daughter had an appointment at 3pm and they issued her grant money to Delmarva Power that same day after Bob told me they don't have money and LaToya said she don't have to help me. I am concerned and upset because I don't believe grant money should be given out according to if the person in charge of distributing it likes the customers or not. I believe it should be distributed according to need in the order people arrive until its depleted. I am also concerned because my grandchildren play sports there and I don't want to be barred from dropping the kids off at games or picking them up or sitting there watching it. I've been attending that Salvation Army for years and I don't think it's fair that someone I know personally can become employed there and in a couple of years I'm no longer allowed there. That shouldn't be. I'm asking if there is any video or camera footage from December 30th between 10:00am and 10:30am to please view it in order to see that I'm telling the truth and Bob and LaToya have plotted to fabricate a story against me to keep me away. I understand Bob doesn't want me to have a conversation with his boss that's why they are doing it.
