At approximately 12:20 pm today (February 24, 2023) my two daughters and I went to RaceTrac (Store 266) to purchase fountain drinks. When my children came out of the store my oldest daughter who is 22 years of age was extremely upset. She said, "Every time I come in here I have a problem with her and my I.D. Everyone accepts my I.D. when I show it to them on my phone but her." My daughter was purchasing tobacco products. I took my daughter home to get her I.D. When we came back my daughter was even more frustrated. The general manager was not even assisting my daughter but she told the young man that was assisting her that my daughter will have to go to Circle K across the street. I decided to get out of my car to purchase the products. I went in and purchased the products from the general manager with no problem. She was polite and even said, "Have a nice day". I wished her the same. It seems the general manager ( I won't say her name her) there has a personal issues with my daughter, therefore she will not provide her with the same customer service she gives to other customers. I have been in the customer service industry for over 30 years. I have never sent a client/customer to a competitor to be serviced. Personal and professional are two different things and have no place in the work place. The general manager's discriminatory behavior is unacceptable. As a leader she must set an example. If Mr. Carl Bloch, Sr. (founder of RaceTrac) was still living he would say this is not good for business.
RaceTrac - Water in fuel
On 7/1/2020 at about 7:30 AM I filled my car with 88 octane [flexfuel]. I believe it was pump #8, you'll have to check video. I have a black Nissan 2015 Versa Note. I traveled to I-10 west for about 4 miles, when my car died and would not start again. Crank, no start. Called ASAP towing service, tow home. After troubleshooting, found fuel tank was full of water. I'm not trying to get rich, or get a new car. Just trying to get whole again. $20.50 fuel. $236.25 tow, $220 day's pay, this is what I am due. I have commuted from Carriere, MS to New Orleans for 30 years, stopping at RaceTrac many times. If you check my rewards account you will see this is not the first or the last time I stopped here. #[protected].
